Bespoke crafting for mummy & baby

I’m a 30 something mummy with delusions of waking up one day having turned into a cross between Mary Poppins (parenting), Martha Stewart (crafty-ness) and Nigella Lawson (general home goddess). I spent years in my pre-Jasper career trying to make business analysis as creative as possible. The things I can do with a spreadsheet or database would blow your mind. However the main thing I have realised since I got pregnant is that there is a crafty, creative mummy just waiting to discover and learn a whole new set of skills. It turns out, when I thought I had no creativity as a child it was more that I was just awful at art. But get out the sewing machine, fire up the hot glue gun or start folding the origami paper and I can actually create things I’m proud of.

These days when I’m not looking after the Bobble (aka Jasper), I’m found in my craft room. Either knocking up a romper, a pair of leggings or trying my hand learning how to quilt. I’ve found it more fulfilling and rewarding than any other work I’ve done in years. What was my study now houses 4 sewing machines, more fabric than I know what to create with and what makes me even happier is that people like my baby clothes and I get to make things for other little bubbas.
