First job on this foggy Friday is delivering some pallets to a customer who we get these custom made for and to suit the items that go onto them. All Heat Treated and Certified for Export as with all the timber that we use.

We’ve only just got round to unwrapping our ‘Black Friday Purchase’. Most people buy bargain electronics and stuff for their homes, while we are happy buying pump trucks 😄🙈

It’s the busiest time of the year for us at the moment. Cargo flight space is a struggle for the next few weeks but we will move it as quickly as we can, even if it means a run up to East Midlands Airport on a Sunday night to get the freight moving.

Not sure how good at Courier work Guy’s heavily modified van would be with a great big engine in the back but a great effort and a great watch 😀 did any one else watch this last night?

It’s an early start today for a delivery of an important consignment that left New York Sunday morning and arrived at Heathrow later on Sunday. We customs cleared it on arrival and then collected overnight. Next stop Scotland!

Our Transit Custom and loading ramp was the perfect vehicle to deliver some equipment featuring in a film shoot located at a closed off level of a Multi-storey car park in London today. With a height under 2m we could get the items to the exact location many levels up due to various restrictions in place.

Many people new to shipping internationally are not aware of the requirements regarding ISPM 15 and restrictions on timber pallets/wooden packaging. We keep a stock of new pallets of various types and sizes at our warehouse for palletising shipments in house and can also supply these to customers who wish to palletise their shipments prior to collection. We also regularly have both tri-wall carton and wooden crates custom made.

Happy New Year to all of our customers and suppliers and we hope you all had a good Christmas. It’s an early start this morning as we’ve got lots in the diary for today already. We’re kicking the New Year off with a new van with a slightly different livery design.

We regularly ship car parts out to Las Vegas for a customer but on this occasion we were asked to ship out a larger consignment than usual. We worked out that this would fit into an AKE Aircraft Container and that this would be the best method for shipping. The container was ordered from the airline and collection arranged. The items were then security cleared and loaded into the container by our staff. No other freight is loaded into the container and it travels as one piece. It's a great way to ensure that the shipment is protected throughout its journey and with arrival in Las Vegas the afternoon after collection it's fast also!

Two 350kgs each pallets of cable drums collected at start of business yesterday near Milan, Italy and back to Basingstoke for delivery to our customer this afternoon. For this size and weight a dedicated vehicle can be quicker and cheaper than air freight.
