Destination Florida Children'S Charity

Destination Florida Children's Charity organises life enhancing biennial trips for Children who are from the North of England to Orlando in Florida. Taking a team of medical and non medical volunteers with us, we provide high quality medical care throughout the time we are away in Orlando. We become a moving hospital. Caring for these children is a full time responsibility for their parents and guardians. Therefore, only the children travel to Orlando allowing their carers to have respite whilst having the reassurance of knowing their child will continue to have professional medical care. As a Charity we pay for all expenses for both our Children and Volunteers. This includes Flights, accommodation, Theme Park Entry, Food and even spending money for the children. The trip costs approx £500, 000 to fund. Funds are raised through amazing Company Sponsorship, our annual fundraising events and amazing support from our supporters who fund raise throughout the course of the year.
