Since 2014, Dev Academy has been training and connecting aspiring tech talent with leading companies – significantly accelerating their careers.
... The Dev Academy programme is 6 weeks in duration. It is an intensive IT based and work-readiness programme designed to increase skills and provide knowledge in specific IT areas that are desperately needed by employers.
The free-to-attend programme is full time (9am – 5pm) for 6 weeks.
Each programme participant is guaranteed an interview with Deloitte, where there are a number of full-time positions available (as well as others partners).
The tech skills gap is a well-documented and publicised problem.
With an estimated 1.4 million computing positions that need to be filled by 2020, the skills gap is very much in need of closing.
However, studies have predicted that universities will only produce approximately 400,000 computer science graduates by that time. Could you fill this gap and help drive the UK tech sector forward?
