This course was totally transformative for me. I learnt so much I left completely mind blown. Not only did it nurture my passion for supporting birthing women and new mothers, it also taught me to nurture my soul. It has given me my life's calling and a sisterhood of supportive women that I'm not sure how I ever lived without. The Developing Doulas course is fantastic. It allowed me to explore my own views and emotions in a safe place surrounded by wonderful women. Maddie creates a welcoming environment and is extremely supportive. Such a beautiful experience.

It was totally worth travelling 100 miles to Cambridge to embark on my Doula training journey. I am so grateful, and feel so very blessed to meet amazing women in our country who deeply care about making as positive difference in expectant women's lives, how they are supported, educated, guided with empowering assistance & support to increase the likelihood to making truly informed choices at a very crucial point of their lives.

Maddie's doula training is outstanding - interactive, challenging and eye opening. She is also incredibly available, especially considering how active she is both as a doula and a trainer. And for those who are not training, this FB page is a wonderful resource for articles, up to date research and all around interesting material on pregnancy, birth and feeding a baby. Thank you Maddie!

If you are looking for a solid introduction to the world of 'doulaing' then I really cannot recommend this course highly enough. Maddie is an exceptional teacher with an interactive, student-led approach. The course manages to inform and engage students in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I learnt tons, made new friends and came away on a real high. Well worth the money!

I took park in the Developing Doulas course after lots of recommendations from others, the course was perfect, nothing like I expected but in a really really great way. It was seriously beautiful, I needed that safe space to open up and to truly find myself and become the person I wanted to be following the birth of my daughter. I feel like I did a huge amount of self development during my time with Maddie on the course and it really ignited my inner doula. I came away from the course passionate about supporting families, even more so about breastfeeding and with a wonderful network of doulas, a true sisterhood.

I did my initial doula training course with DD, as well as several of Maddie's excellent study days. Maddie's unconditional love and total open-hearted acceptance of the women she nurtures into the doulas they are in their hearts is beautiful and her many years of experience as a doula, breastfeeding counsellor and birth educator shine throughout. A true treasure, enabling women to enable other women - changing the world one birth at a time - priceless.
