In 2005 I got to do what very few people in life do, I got my dream to own Devereux Cycles and started my career as a cycle mechanic. Today, I am very proud to change my uniform and pull on this one to represent the Great Britain Cycling Team for the next 9 days in the Ostend World Cup. #proudmechanic.

If Carlsberg made tricycles, We were asked recently to upgrade the best tricycle we have ever seen for GB athlete Craig Mcann to Dura Ace di2 This thing is pretty bling with custom hope carbon rims and top of the range di2 shifting. It’s as good as it gets, well at least till he gets the cervello trike 😂

We don't normally get involved in selling bikes on behalf of customers, but this is a particularly nice electric bike and could be the solution to somebody's problems below is a picture of Johns Kalkhoff Integral i8 which he purchased on 27th May 2017 for my daily commute from Sale to the bike hub in Piccadilly Gardens.it was unused from July to today dure to him being posted to london for work The bike has 309 miles on the clock and had its first service with 50 Cycles in ...Altrincham after 1 week of riding as they requested.
The frame is a small, but they are larger than other small framed bikes. john 5’ 8” and there is plenty of adjustment in the seat post for somebody with longer legs. Bike comes with all manuals etc which came with the bike.
He paid £3,200 for it and would be happy to sell for £2,800 or very nearest reasonable offer.
As john is meticulous in his bike maintenance not that it would have needed any in his ownership/usage time frame, i would be more than happy to check the bike over for the buyer prior to purchase free of charge If anyone is seriously interested, please contact the shop and i will put you both together.

World champs update. GB / Para-t success continued with our riders Jaco Van Gass and Jon Gildea both winning medals. Jaco achieved his first bronze in the 4km pursuit a feat made even more impressive by the fact he hasn't been a GB programme rider since last year. Jon rode a blistering pace to not only perform a personal best time but to take the Britsh record to just miss out on the gold by less than a second. Fantastic results boys see you for a brew soon.

World champs update. The GB / Para-t medal haul continued yesterday. Megan Giglia continued her comeback with a fantastic 1st and our favourite Kiwi Steve " I don't look like a hobo coz I've shaved to be aero but still look a bit like Ed Sheeran" Bate road to his first well deserved world title. Amazing work guys.

My stepson recently had his bike fixed here and he and my husband were really impressed with the service they received. The staff really know their stuff. We'll definitely be a repeat customer!

Great service from a great team. Pete Devereax used to own the business, and is a member of my cycling club. He's retired now and sold the business to Ian, who is doing a sterling job. Pete still goes in and helps out though, which is really nice. I can recommend this shop to anyone... Just wish there were more bike shops around as this one is 3 miles approx from my house so a bit of a long walk!

I needed a repair doing ASAP on a Monday at 5:15pm recently and I was lucky to be told that I could drop it off and it would be done first thing in the morning. When I dropped it off, I decided to get my machine serviced too, and they said it could be done for later that day. They did a very good job and somehow the repair work came in under the estimated maximum cost, which was lovely of course. Hurray for bike shops and cycling and cyclists :)

Excellent service. I took my running buggy in for a new inner tyre, sludge and a “service”. They could have easily invented a service, but didn’t, instead just fixed the hand brake as I asked. I will definitely return!
