This is very important. Plymouth City Council propose to give Devil's Point Park the status of Local Green Space, which gives it the same protection in planning law as Green Belt land. Please email plymouthplan@plymouth.gov.uk by 12th August and say you support the designation of Devil's Point Park as Local Green Space. this area has always been for the common people so how can the council sell something that belongs to everyone and its not for sale urban splash have not even finished in the Royal William Yard so the council should tell them to finish that first my wife and i love Devils Point we go there every day after work to enjoy the walk and the birdlife

You can go for a nice quiet walk or have a dip in the water. There's some great views and alert level café .

User

Wear you wellys and get down to the beach! Clean and lovely relaxing spot! Plus Plenty of seating up above and there's a nice little kiosk there for a good cup of tea! Escape Plymouth City centre for an hour!! :)

The walk and view are lovely and nice places to relax and enjoy some sun. Area was nice and clean.

The place my husband and I fell in love and still happily together many moons later. Watching my dad go off to sea in the 60s and 70s, and now doing the same for my RN officer son. This is about Plymouth and it is about Navy - please dont turn it into a car park Urban Splash - that is just wrong on every level.

The best view in Plymouth, free parking, a beach, a café, a sea pool & lovely walks with Royal William Yard on your doorstep for lunch or a coffee.

User

The beach & pool are fantastic, don't leave it to long to move from the right side as you can cut off when as the tide comes in.

The coffee in the cafe is very over priced for the size of coffee you get, but the food is good!!

User

Lovely spot, but I will no longer be spending money in the cafe, grumpy and unhelpful. Cheer up, you have that lovely view!

User

Love the place, but you need to get there early to avoid the problem of parking.....it soon fills up with the vehicles of people who work in RWY.

User

Love it, lovely sea, views and different birds. Good childhood memories there

User

Lots of people fucking each other in and on their cars.

User

It's a beautiful place , super views and grass area to sit and watch world go by and the beach to rock pool hunt and swim, paddle and just enjoy the sea air and the cafe is a godsend

User

It is a lovely place to walk by, and to sit and relax while watching the ships and boats coming and going. It is off the beaten track, but is also the perfect place for families to watch Naval ships leave port when they have family members on board. A haven for locals and a visiting point for holiday makers!

User

Go here every christmas day, mothers day and on mum's birthday to give her flowers because she loved this place, it's beautiful in the summer with the sun and beautiful in the winter

User

First time I went here was Sunday and enjoyed it so much went back the following week....lovely and relaxing with beautiful views and plenty of seats to have a sit down and then walked onto Royal William Yard and had a coffee ...will certainly be going again...

User

Beautiful place to visit, We have gone there many times to relax and see the views, And have taken my dog Spotty for walk,s, and had lunch.

User

Lovely peace place to walk and sit looking out to sea. Lots of navy families go there to see their loved ones come and go on their ships. I am one of them!

User

It’s a great little place to sit and watch the world go by, parking is ample but busy, the cafe has parking but only for thirty minutes at a time, the small out door pool is adequate but swimming there is at your own risk as there is no life guards.
