So the answer to this weeks guess the breed was of course
American Cocker Spaniel.

***Guess the breed of one of our k9 guests*** ANSWER IS - AMERICAN COCKER SPANIEL For a bit of fun, thought I would start a new feature (weekly if I remember) of guess the breed. The picture will either be an unusual breed, a cross breed, or part of a dog and I will be asking for people to guess the breed. I will appreciate it if the owner of the dog doesn't give the game away too early and spoil the fun.

Our well stocked local village shop at Bratton Fleming not only sells everyday essentials but also has a little Tea Room for cooked breakfasts, day time drinks & nibbles and they have now started serving evening takeaways too!

Well behaved dogs are welcome in the shop and tea room, further seating outside. Conveniently located next to the village park with woodland walk and the shop has it's own carpark too.

scent work retreival. Going through a few old video's of our Springer maizy, one of our favs, not best quality but it shows her ability. She had no idea where these dummies were. purley found by scent. Have go yourselves with some bracken in our 3 acre exercise field #lovespringers

We can now take smaller campers with no toilet facilites as we now have our Swedish design compost toilet for our camper guests to use. #separett. Here's a pic of our first icle VW camper. Our toilet looks a little like a normal toilet but uses no water. everyone must sit to use. We aim to be as eco friendly as we can here. NOTE! no shower yet.

This Sunday - Free dog travel on the Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff railway, owners welcome.

This is the view from our grass pitches, the field to the right is our fenced off lead dog field. Exmoor is just 1 mile down our quiet country lane. We're 1000 feet up so ideal for star gazing or cloud watching

We have just arrived home after 2 nights here and can't wait to go back again. The site is so peaceful and Chris could have spent all day with his telescope watching the birds in the trees. Wilf loved the dog field, the babbling brook and especially Darren and Sarah who are the loveliest hosts ever. Wilf even got fitted for a new harness and lead. North Devon is one area we haven't explored before and we weren't disappointed. This was the most relaxing break and as soon as we hit the M5 home we wished we had decided to do as Sarah suggested and stay an extra night. Thank you both so much.

We had a lovely two night stay here with our two dogs. One of our dogs is reactive so it can be stressful staying at some sites ... but not this one! Darren was so understanding and accommodating of our needs and made sure we all had a positive experience. The dogs were calm and relaxed and so were we. They loved the secure field which we hired at a very reasonable rate and the views were amazing and it was just so peaceful!! We watched the Tour of Britain come up through Bratton Flemming - there's some great hills... Perfect for any cyclists wanting some hill training! � can't wait to visit again! Just left after 2 fantastic weeks here with our dogs. We all loved it. The exercise field is brilliant - our Springers loved it. Poppy had a go at agility too. Darren and Sarah are amazing hosts. Already looking forward to a return visit and hopefully the sun will shine a bit more �

Just back from 8 nights at the site. Great site, very peaceful as adults only, great views, huge dog exercise field, and agility equipment to use. Everything we want from a site. Darren and Sarah are lovely friendly people. Would highly recommend.

I stayed at the campsite and had a wonderfull time. It's quiet, relaxed and set in a beautiful surrounding. I love the fact that it's so dogfriendly and Deisy had the time of her life with you. If I'm ever coming to Devon again, i'll know where to stay!!

Fabulous quiet adult only, 100% dog friendly. Sarah and Darren are so lovely and welcoming, absolutely loved our stay and got to use the agility equipment every day. Definitely will be back. Happy campers and happy �
