Devon Coastal Cottages Description
Lamacraft Farm Cottages are a small group of coastal holiday cottages. Located on a non-working farm in one of the most southerly points of the South Hams and less than a mile from Start Point Lighthouse car park.
In a fantastic position for exploring the South West Coast footpath you have Start Point in one direction and Dartmouth in the other!
A short walk to North Hallsands beach a small unspoilt fishing village near Start Point, near East Portlemouth (4 miles) with access to the popular coastal yachting town of Salcombe (via the East Portlemouth ferry) in the beautiful South Hams area.
The beaches on this side of the peninsula tend to all be dog-friendly, with many unspoilt beaches and is only 30 /40 minute walk (1. 4 miles) from the very popular Beesands beach with its own gastro pub the Cricket Inn and the wonderful seafood eatery known as Britannia for its incredibly, delicious and very local seafood (about 30 seconds from the beach! ).
Equally accessible to Salcombe and Dartmouth situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and renowned for its stunning coastline, popular with sailing and boating enthusiasts. Much of the clifftop land has been acquired by the National Trust, a haven for bird watchers and walkers.

A perfect Summers Day in October! Got to love Devon at half term! ūüėć ūüėé Fab walk along The South West Coast Path from the coastguard station NCI Prawle Point at Prawle Point to Gara Rock Hotel for lunch today. ūüėč 2.5 Miles each way. Great to have some time off at half term! Visit South Devon
