Devon Doctors Ltd is a not-for-profit social enterprise which provides the integrated urgent care services in Devon and Somerset, where it operates as Meddcare Somerset.

Devon Doctors Ltd was established in 1996 to provide an infrastructure support to a number of GP co-operatives across Devon. In 2004 we became a Social Enterprise owned by every GP practice in the county to provide out-of-hours care to the population of Devon.

Since then we have successfully met and exceeded Department of Health standards and have established a local and national reputation for excellent out-of-hours care. We also have two subsidiary companies providing a range of healthcare services throughout the county – Devon Health and Devon Dental.
