We've had a full week of sailing on Bewitched. Nick was a great skipper who was keen to adapt to what we were looking for. He left the boat each night leaving the yacht 'to be ours to own' which made the whole experience much more personal. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is either a new or experienced sailor as you will definitely find huge positives from this trip. Lovely guy and fantastic week!

We chartered Spellbound for a week in mid July, Nick met us on arrival and gave us a thorough overview of the boat. He pointed out various hazards on our planned route and answered all our questions giving us all the time necessary. (Throughout the week he was always available on his mobile should we need help). Really pleased we booked the yacht which was in great condition and will definitely be using Devon Sailing Experiences again. Steve

We bareboat chartered 'Barbarossa' for a week. The boat was perfect for the 5 of us, well equipped, comfortable and easy to sail. She was handed over clean and tidy and ready to sail. The handover was professional as well as relaxed and welcoming, with just the right amount of information to get us on our way with the reassurance that any further advice needed was just a phone call away. We have chartered in the U.K a few times now and this has been the best experience so far; we'll be back!

Thank you Katie and Nick for what turned out to be a beautiful days Sailing. Having Sailed often before in the 80's and 90's I thought I knew it all, but oh how Sailing has changed since then. Nick was full of info about the met of the area down to knowledge of the boat. He had some very interesting facts to pass on. A very good skipper too I could fully recommend him to anyone be they a veteran sailor to a first time sailor, you will know your in safe hands.

Thank you Devon Sailing for a lovely day sail around Plymouth area. Your 40ft yacht Bewitched is fab. All mod cons and very comfortable. Gail our skipper for the day was excellent, and made you feel at home through out the day but also providing as much opportunity everyone wanted to get involved as much or as little as they wanted. Sailed with Devon Sailing in June 2015 on the yacht "bewitched", we had a great time going west to Fowey, what a lovely place!

Nick and Katie at Devon Sailing Experiences most definitely deserve a full five stars! We booked a ten day charter with the first few days skippered. Our experiences were excellent from beginning to end. Nick was the first to reply when we were exploring options and he didn't disappoint us once from developing a package and itinerary to suit, right through to the smooth return of our deposit on exit.



Whether you are in Devon during the week and would like a day out on the water away from the crowds or if you are looking for something a little longer, I would highly recommend. You'll have a great time!!

Me and my friend Mark had a great day out from Plymouth on 'Bewitched' last Saturday. At the marina we saw 5 others and were fearful of too large a group but we were split and went out as a four and a three on separate boats. We were fearful that there would be insufficient wind but as soon as we were in the sound we were sailing. With ample opportunity for us all to helm and crew under Gail's watchful eye, we stopped at Cawsand for a pleasant lunch before returning to the marina.

What a great way to celebrate Mark's 39th birthday(not)- highly recommended.

I have just spent 5 days on board the Bewitched, and it was some of the best sailing I have ever done. Nick is a great guy who will try and make your trip as good as possible. I highly recommend doing this however experienced you are at sailing.

Having sailed Spellbound a number of times in 2015 we can only give five stars, great people with great boats a must do for sailing in Devon/Cornwall

Had a great sailing trip with Devon Sailing Experiences. A 5 day trip with Skipper Nick on Bewitched. The boat was well equipped both for sailing and for living. The large 'Code Zero' sail meant that we could sail in low wind conditions (although we didn't have much of this!). We sailed Plymouth to Fowey, Fowey to Falmouth, Falmouth to Yealm.



The weather could have been kinder! and we were not able to sail due to bad weather but we enjoyed the experience.



Nick is a very competent skipper, encouraging us to take the helm under his guidance to improve our confidence & skills - even coping with my panic moments!



We would definitely recommend Devon Sailing Experiences and will be back again next year - sorry Nick

Awesome yachting experience! Nick is a natural teacher and obviously has a huge passion for his boat. More than just a boat ride! The lunch included was delicious as we anchored in a sheltered bay to enjoy it. Highly recommend this as a 'must do' when you're next in Plymouth.

Another lovely sail with these guys. The yacht Bewitched is lovely and new with all the features you would hope for. Nick was a great skipper making everyone feel at home. And the blue skys and calm seas made a very enjoyable day. Highly recommended and I can't wait to be back on board soon.

A fantastic weekend sailing to Salcombe cannot recommend more highly - we had a super time. Amazing boat, brilliant mentoring with Nick our skipper and really fun to meet another couple equally excited about the sail too. Went for a day sail last Saturday. It was an amazing day out sailing around Plymouth sound and over to Newton Ferrers.



Before we set sail we learnt a bit about how the ropes and sails worked, if you want to know more you have to ask. Nick was very happy to answer any questions but this is very much an experience rather than a teaching day, so he is happy for you to all sit back and relax.



We enjoyed the whole day and eating lunch down in the harbour with the sun on our backs. It was quite windy the day we went out and Nick did mention that he had to cancel the next excursion because the forecast was worse, he was concerned that it would not be an enjoyable day even if it was technically sail-able, which i thought was considerate.



It was an amazing day out and I have already recommended it to many friends, its just a shame its so far away!
