Very grateful to the Lord Mayor of Plymouth, Councillor Sam Davey, and the Mayor of Saltash, Councillor John Brady, who found the time to join us to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the museum. Thank you to all the volunteers, past and present who help keep the museum up and running.

On Friday 17th August and Saturday 18th August we will be opening our Research and Documents Archives situated at Plympton to the general public.
With the help of Plymouth City library and in conjunction with the Devon Remembers Project, we hope to help you trace Relatives and Descendants who worked in Devonport Dockyard using our unique collection of documents and photographs.
Plymouth City Council Library staff will be on hand to help, through their online link to Ancestry....com. We have 45 places per day, but if successful we will run another event in September.
This is a free event but we would appreciate a donation to help keep Devonport Naval Heritage Centre, and the Research facility running.
