Wow!!! We have just had the most amazing feast from Devon’s Kitchen we tried limits everything on the Menu. the Jerk Chicken is just the best we’ve ever had and the mutton and Goat curries are glorious. Thanks Devon it was great meeting you and we will definitely be ordering again!

Tried this place on Saturday for the first time, had the jerk chicken and rice, absolutely amazing, huge portions and tasted fantastic, we'll definitely be back again.

Ordered the curry goat and I have to say it is quite possibly the best thing I’ve ever ordered from a takeaway! Everything tasted fresh and delicious! Will definitely be ordering more.

Ordered the curried root veg, callaloo, ackee & salt fish with rice & peas, fries and dumplings. Order took a while to come as I'm in the other side of town but it was well worth the wait! Kind staff gave us an extra dumpling, and the delivery guy notified me that he was nearby. Excellent customer service and perfect food, my first time trying Jamaican cuisine and I'm very impressed. Hearty, delicious food that tastes better and feels healthier than the majority of Doncaster's takeaways. You've got yourself a regular, thanks guys. <3

Ordered for the first time last night and the food was stunning!! Me who lives here and my family who live in Birmingham love to cook Caribbean food so I’ve been waiting for a Jamaican take away to come to Doncaster and Devon’s food did not fail to please! Me and parter thoroughly enjoyed it. The prices are also very good too. Would highly recommend and I am so glad to have found this place. 10/10! Will definitely be ordering again!

Omg ive literally just finished eating my food from here and all i can say is AMAZING!!! I had the goat curry with rice and peas, the meat is so tender and tasty and theres loads of it aswell. I will definatly be ordering from here again.

Me, my partner & 2 children visited here for the first time today. The food was lovely, very fresh, tasty and filling. Good portion sizes, we even had some left over to bring home. Staff warm and welcoming and we were given a taster to try of something we hadn’t had before. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the tasty food and nice atmosphere.

Just order the mix box with half Jerk Chicken & Mutton Curry. It was really really good. Will be ordering it again.

I first tried Devon’s kitchen at T fest and it was so so nice! Tonight we were looking on just eat and I saw it advertised, So we placed a delivery and the lovely Ann brought it and omg it was the best delivery food I have ever had ever! ... This is going to be my go to place for food .. Everyone needs to try this food !! You will not be disappointed

Had a beautiful jerk chicken at the doncaster food festival. Would highly recommend. Saw about you in the doncopolitan magazine and had to try. Lived up to the hype. Gorgeous food

Great food. The jerk chicken is easily the best I've ever tasted, and the goat curry is absolutely excellent - wonderful to finally have somewhere local to get some. Reasonably priced, with timely service, can't recommend their food enough.

Decided to visit the shop for our first visit and I'm sure it will be the first of many after eating the food.



We thoroughly loved everything we tried and the rum cake was delicious.



Can highly recommend the curried goat and the jerk chicken, the dumplings were great as were the festival's, hope to work through the menu and try everything :-)

Can not recommend enough, we tried for the first time tonight and from the first phone call, too how quickly they delivered was fantastic. OMG the food is amazing, I have picky eaters in the house but not one piece of food was left. Thank you the food is amazing.

Amazing service & delivery! Food was incredible � we ordered two mixed boxes of jerk chicken, curry chicken & rice and peas and jerk chicken, curry mutton & fries and there was enough to feed us twice! The side salad alone was delicious! All food was very tasty & fresh! Really nice to have a change from the usual greasy takeaway! Our new favourite takeaway, will definitely be ordering from here again � thank you for an amazing meal!

Finally placed an order with Devons Kitchen!

I've heard lots of mixed reports, a lot saying they have small portion sizes so we made sure we ordered enough to fill us - me and my husband like our food!!

We ordered 3 main dishes: Ackee and Saltash, Curried Goat and Jerk Chicken. All with rice and peas and Salad and a portion of fried dumplings.

There was definitely enough, far too much rice to be honest.

Was a little bit later than they said on the phone but I didn't think it was bad timing to say what we ordered and where they came from.

The food was really good, very tasty, we really enjoyed it.

We will definitely order again.

I have ordered from here twice now, with a friend. Went for the fried chicken the first time which was acceptable and cooked well but not particularly exciting, bland except for the flavour of the oil it was fried in. The second time we ordered I took my friends advice and ordered a curry type dish instead, I went for the Jerk Chicken. Once again the meat was cooked perfectly, it had fallen from the bone all on it's own but without being stewed till it was dry. But once again I was disappointed, the sauce just tasted like incredibly salty and spicy oil. Not a single vegetable in sight. Rice and peas were bland and lacked the delicate coconut cream flavour usually found in this dish, would have preferred more beans and kidney beans at that. On par with home cooking, far from an authentic experience and not what I expected for an incredibly exciting cuisine.



My friend suggested his Curried Goat the first time and Jerk Chicken the second time was very good but it was his first time trying Jamaican food at all. He suggested the Jerk Chicken was too salty though.



Service is decent though. Can tell the restaurant is trying to bring a cuisine that has been lacking in Doncaster in the past. Unfortunately Jamaican cuisine continues to lack in these parts.

I ordered a delivery of ackee and selfish and oxtail rice and peas. There was no saltfish and tasted off. I then tried again at carribean fun day there was so much sugar in the spicy chicken it was awful and threw away. Fortunately will not be 3rd time for me

After hearing good things about this place we decided to try on Saturday night 11th may placed order at 7:30 was delivered at 9:15 after being told would be an hour on receipt of order the chips were stone cold we had ordered the 2 mains for £8:50 on one order which consisted of 1 small fried chicken drumstick and small tub containing jerk chicken the rice was cold and it said comes with salad nowhere to be found side orders of Rasta pasta salad was just dry pasta and mac n cheese had never seen cheese very dissatisfied will not be ordering again first impressions count
