Very poor service and not the best quality. Not recomended

Excellent service today, got exactly what we went for, polite lovely salesman. One happy customer, can't wait for my new sofa to arrive.

I'm very disappointed with the customer service I have just received. I took out insurance on a sofa I bought from here nearly five years ago and was told clearly at the time that, as I can only use the call out to clean it once, I should wait until the five years was nearly up and get it all seen to at once. So for five years now I have allowed some stains to build, thinking it was best to get it all done at the end. However, I was mis-sold the insurance with false information as this is not the case and DFS Carlisle are unwilling to reimburse the insurance because that staff member is no longer with them. The manager implied I could be lying, to add insult to injury. I won't ever use them again or recommend them as on this basis I feel they have acted unethically and I think it is scandalous when large companies fail to act responsibly when they have made a mistake, in the interests of their own profits.

BEWARE All DFS Company is bunch of liars.Don't buy sofa from them,dont care about customer.I am mum of baby and toddler and yesterday they delivered to us sofa which stinks of chemicals,they sent drivers to smell it and apparently they don't smell anything.I am in tears, house is a mess,children stuck upstairs in bedroom and we go downstairs only to eat.I don't understand how these people don't have feelings and all they care is MONEY.

Good choice but lack of staff and most of the furniture had no prices and it took several minutes for the salesperson (once we managed to find one) to check just one price for one sofa... gave up on the end and went elsewhere.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Ended up buying a bargain recliner sofa.... only went for a look around as well, but it was too good a deal to miss.

Have been delightfully surprised by the service and quality of the furniture on both occasions that we have used this store.
