Early warning folks! Wednesday 23 Jan we will be opening at 1pm and Wednesday 30 Jan we are closed all day for staff training. Sorry for any inconvience: when we come back we will better than ever!

Sometimes we overlook the simple things we can do for ourselves to make life a little more comfortable. This article has some lovely ideas.

A timely reminder

Kindness comes in many forms and today we would like to thank East Anglian Data Recovery who generously provided their secure data destruction service free of charge. It may not sound much but managing data can be costly and their generosity means we can focus of serving our clients even better than before.

We may be closed but there are others who can offer support at Christmas.

Christmas/New Year closure: Our walk-in services will close at 3pm on Thursday 20 December and re-open at 9.15 on Wednesday 2 January.
... Our Advice Line will close at midday on Friday 21 December and re-open at 9.15 on Wednesday 2 January
Our Outreach services in Beccles & Lowestoft Job Centres, Halesworth Library, Cutlers Hill Surgery Halesworth, Bungay Medical Practice and Longshore Surgery Kessingland will re-open as usual as of Wednesday 2 January.

When I first met the people at DIAL I just couldn't believe the help they gave me in regards to my disability and helping me with the forms. I have been disabled since 1993 and this small group of people are absolutely brilliant. Thank you DIAL for taking the time to help me your help and support will never be forgotten.

Had an appointment this morning with Nicky. I felt very welcomed and supported with tackling forms I’d been putting off for a while. Really grateful for the help, didn’t feel rushed and she chatted about the issues around filling the forms with attention and compassion.

I am now able to complete the forms in an informed and capable manner. I was also offered an appointment to check the forms before sending them which I will definitely be taking up.
