Sunday 20th: All day pre-release party

Wargames is more than just a shop selling miniatures and games. It has multiple communities of gamers who regularly meet up and play. Anything from pokemon to guild ball, board games to malifaux. Stocks massive range of games workshop items.



If they don't have it, they are very good at getting it to you pretty fast!



Staff are friendly and helpful.



As for the tournament halls...... They are BIG!



Get down there and see for yourself. If you aren't sure what you want then ask - staff will help with your choice and have a trial game to see if it is up your street or not.

Visted the store on a day out in South port with my family great and friendly staff and plenty of choice in store :)

Visited here today and the lady behind the counter was just the most helpful ever! Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and full knowledge of everything we needed to know. One of the games we were after was not in stock (it's super popular) but they offered to take our details and text us when the next order comes in. 100% will come here for all the games we need!

Visited for first time ever over the weekend! All I got to say is what a place! Every single facet of hobbying is covered. From gaming, painting, shopping and socializing, Wargames have it all. Along with the most helpful and awesome staff I can't recommend this place enough! Thank you Martin and the team for giving me such a great experience. I will definitely be back!!!!

This places really looks after its customers and invests time into helping those interested in learning new games, a member of staff took time out to teach my youngest, a keen collector of Pokemon cards, how to play the game and potentially build decks, not something I myself have any experience of. Very friendly and very helpful

The atmosphere and environment that you get is amazing, everyone is so friendly and always willing to help new people learn new games as it is a community for the wierd and wonderful world of games :)

Ordered a father's. Day gift over the phone for my husbands an went in to collect on the Saturday and both members of staff were amazing couldn't help enough, warm, friendly, polite and it felt very family friendly. As the wife of a 40k/warhammer player, plus his other gaming hobbies I have been in many gaming store and yours was by far the best. Can't rate it enough. You feel very at ease and relaxed in there. It's Great. Thank you for all your help 😀

You walk in (past the awesome Batman mural) and immediately feel welcomed to a clean, spacious and bright environment. THREE floors of gaming space that caters for all gaming types. The staff are exceptional... Motivated and clearly want to help. Your stuff not in stock? Just ask and it soon will be... It's everything... Online store, face to face and a place to play. Oh did I also mention the tournaments?

Can honestly say ive never been in such a friendly shop, the young lady was so helpful and engaging, she spent time talking to my 10 year old and explaining different games, we felt so welcomed, this is not just a shop it’s a community and we left smiling and looking forward to our next visit. By far the best war gaming shop I've visited. It's a large airy shop and the staff are really friendly. I came down on Sunday and when I arrived it was quite busy but the guys there still took the time out to give a tutorial on a game and have a chat and give advice about good alternatives to citadel products. Another thing that I thought was great about it is that there is no pushy selling like you can get in GW stores. The staff just want you to play a game that you enjoy. It's really refreshing. Thanks guys!

Brilliant store,really friendly staff and helpful. No hard selling or pressure,you can tell it's run by enthusiasts. Some beautifully built models on display,which were happily shown to me as examples of various paints and effects. Vallejo paints in stock and well priced, when I had a query about some weathering pigments it was dealt with happily and successfully. If you're a modeller a gamer or just curious give this store a visit.
