Diddi Dance York, Ryedale, Selby & Surrounding

Matilda has been nominated by her lovely teacher Dee from my class at Spearehead hall in Strensall on a Thursday morning.
Matilda gets involved with the whole class and loves showing Dee new ways to use the props. Matilda's mummy says that diddi dance is the highlight of their week and Matilda is always singing at home and pracitising her moves.
Above all Matilda always has the BIGGEST smile on her face making her a pleasure to teach! Well done Matilda and keep up the good work! x

So much going on in York as we fast approach the summer period 🌞
We've spent the morning at Tang Hall Explore Library celebrating their 1 year anniversary 🎂
Lots to do including play dough, storytelling, Lego, face painting and much more....all free 👍 So pop in if you're at a loose end today 😀
... I have to say the face painting and play dough went down a treat with my diddi ones 🤩🙌
This afternoon we're heading over to Greenfest for an afternoon of music and fun!! 🎵🎵🎉

This weeks diddi dancer is the ever so cute Asha who attends The Avenues on a Monday morning. Asha is so engaged and her focus is amazing throughout the whole class. She definitely has a love for dance which I love to see at such a young age. She also is a huge fan of the hula hoops as you can see in this picture!

What a weekend!! It's been amazing spending the weekend in London with all my fellow diddi dance colleagues from all over the UK for our annual AGM 💜
The icing on the cake has to be winning an award which was totally unexpected but feel so proud of myself!

This weeks diddi dancer is the lovely Nancie aka 'smiler'!! She is amazing and every week puts her all into the class. She is such a happy little thing and gives the best 'smile' 😁 and 'wave' 👐 at the beginning of the class when we do our hello's. She is a particular fan of the 'circle dance' singing her little heart out as she dances round. I also love how she consistently chooses the colour blue for every prop she uses 💙
You are a pleasu...re to have in the class and so pleased after all these months of doing diddi dance your energy and smile never falters!

This week's little star is Alice from my Clifton class on a Tuesday morning. Alice has grown in confidence SO much over the last few months and is really engaging so well with the class! She looks love's the circle dance and absolutely loves the ribbons and hula hoops too. The joy on her little face is fantastic 💜

This weeks diddi dancer of the week is the oh so gorgeous Samuel (aka my little shadow) from my Dunnington class on a Tuesday morning.
Samuel is my little buddy who likes to help me set up and this had become a weekly ritual 💜 He is quite possibly the happiest little boy, always with a smile on his face and he just LOVES diddi dance! He also has the best wiggle, which put's a smile on all our faces 🥰
