Fishing vessel 'Diligence' is a 30 ft working fishing boat moored in the picturesque Cornish village of Mevagissey. The boat is skippered by Matt Cave who has been fishing from Mevagissey for over twenty years.
The boat runs ninety minute mackerel trips daily from late May to mid-September (weather permitting) starting at various times throughout the day. All rods and tackle are supplied - just bring yourself and some warm clothing. You can keep your catch, experience is not needed and it's great fun for all the family.

We had an amazing time, Matt was extremely helpful and we caught loads of Mackeral which we enjoyed on the BBQ later.

Matt is a great skipper. I have been out with my son twice this week and couldn't have wished for better. Great instruction and he is great with the kids. If you are ever in Cornwall, get on this boat, we will definitely be on it again! Thanks Matt!

Had THE most amazing time with Matt! Never caught so many fish before even tho been going for years with various different trips. Know that can't guarantee lots of fish but even if we hadn't caught many we'd have still had a great time as Matt is so knowledgable, friendly and pleasant. We had a great laugh and the time went far too quickly. Was worth every penny!
