Based in Basingstoke, Direct First Aid was formed by two good friends, Peter and Ryan and delivers health and safety training courses around the UK. We know how important skills such as first aid and manual handling are in preventing injuries and saving lives. That's why our aim is to provide fun, friendly, accessible and affordable training to everyone from businesses to the general public. Not only that, it needs to be taught correctly and all our instructors are fully qualified and also hold a minimum of a Pre-teaching in the Life Long Sector (7303 PTLLS) Level 3 City and Guilds teaching qualification. With everything from half day to three day approved courses, all across 3 health and safety areas; first aid, fire and care sector, we should have something to meet everyone's needs. Not only do we offer our paid courses but we also run a scheme called Heartstart. This is a scheme set out by The British Heart Foundation which offers free training to everyone over 10 years old and covers a few key life saving first aid skills such as CPR.
