Stopped here after some shopping ! Met the owner who took the time to chat to us although he was busy doing everything else as it had only been open a few days !! food was lovely staff very efficient. Being in the industry I understand how hard it can be on a busy night to please everyone ! We enjoyed it that much we brought our staff party here to eat and everyone had a great time so we will definitely be coming back !

Sad to see bad reviews. Had lunch after shopping with the parents and it was fab. Very busy Saturday afternoon and managed to fit us in after 10 mins despite being warned of a potential half hour wait. Two fab burgers and a chicken tacos with some mac n cheese n skinny fries sides. Thought the prices for a nice oxford restraunt were reasonable and the staff were all brilliant. Will be back for the bottomless cocktail brunch with the girls!

My mum and I took a trip in here on a Saturday and had brunch together, both her and I had crumpets. 1 plate of crumpets with the smoked salmon and the other crumpets with avocado and poached eggs. We shared one of the crumpets each. Both were delicious. Definitely would return!

My husband and I brought our two kids for a half term treat. We all loved it! The best buffalo wings I think I have ever had, the single most delicious pile of crispy chicken thighs and the dirtiest, yummiest lamb fries! We will be back �

Couldn't resist ordering the Mac Daddy Burger and wasn't disappointed, really enjoyed it. I thought the food was great, would highly recommend the crispy lamb fries and thought the Butter Baby shake was one of the best milkshakes I've ever had, it's delicious. Good, friendly and attentive service and I loved the overall feel of the restaurant, hope to see you again soon. Ps - please come to Cheltenham!

Amazing lunch today. Both my fiancé and I are carers and rarely get time off together. I’ve not been well recently so he decided to treat me to a ‘date day’. We found your place by accident after going to the cinema and I’m so glad we did!



Even though it was quite busy nothing was too much trouble for the staff, very attentive, and recommended the perfect cocktail for a crazy Cat lady like me.... the mutts nuts! The veggie burgers and fries were very tasty.



We are getting married soon, a very small do with us and two witnesses, and I think we might have our wedding lunch with you!

First time to this restaurant, 6.30pm on a Monday evening and we were very impressed, the food was very good, we shared mac n cheese balls and then had the ribs and fish tacos, all was good, the fish tacos are delicious, good service. Will definitely be back.

Don't know why people are complaining so much because food was great though the rib at the very end of the rack was dry but the rest were tasty. The chicken wings and fries are especially delicious! The only drawback is that the milkshake isn't available to order yesterday for some reason. Also, you don't have to give tips. You can add any amount on top of your bill though.

No kids menu but they have child seats. Staff very friendly. Food is very nice but you don’t get chips with your meals, so it a bit pricey as you have to order two or three things to make one meal. Drinks and desserts very nice, the Hard Butter Baby milkshake is amazing! But the Pumpkin Chesse cake is disgusting, luckily our kids didn’t mind it. Probably won’t go again and the smokehouse in Witney is so much better.

While the starters were delicious we were disappointed with the overall portion size. We paid £8.50 for 5 poxy dumplings, £6.50 for 3 Mac balls and £9 for 2 tiny tacos that had hardly any mince in them so lacked the spicy beef flavour and just tasted cold and wet due to too much salad and sauce.

No sides were served with the tacos which are well and truly needed to prevent you leaving just as hungry as you entered. You couldn't even fill up on a milkshake as they all contain alcohol.

Also, received the bill with a £4.19 service charge on it which admittedly got removed upon request but as for service you didn't do much apart from maybe eat half of my dinner on the way out of the kitchen.

Nice restaurant and atmosphere, but overpriced cocktails and food. Between £9-£10 for a cocktail and are so small or the bigger glasses are pretty much just ice. Don’t mind paying a bit more for food, but if it is worth the price it’s being charged at. Ordered the Crispy Fried chicken blended in buttermilk and spices,which sounded lovely on the menu but when it came out, we couldn’t taste any of the buttermilk or spice flavouring, and was overdone. The chips need to be ordered separately (which bumps the price up) and these were undercooked which was disappointing, as again they sounded lovely on the menu, and would have been if they were little more cooked. Also when the bill comes out, they had added the VAT on which is stated nowhere on the menu that this isn’t included in the prices or will be added to the bill separately due to this. Banilla shake and chicken wings for starter were delicious though. Thought this would be better than what it was, as there seemed to be a lot of hype about this place,but don’t think we would be rushing back.

The starters were okay, but Our main courses were very disappointing, the chicken had no flavour at all and was pink inside. Everything was quite pricey and felt like a huge waste of money. We did have a lovely lady look after us though. She’s the only part that deserved a star. Such a shame. 😕

Terrible service!!! I can get over the price as your overheads are probably high in Oxford. But not the bad attitude of the staff. We were rushed constanty to the point of being harassed. Asked if we were ready to order minutes after being given the menu, obviously not as we hadnt even picked up the menu. One minute later the waitress was back again; ‘Are you ready yet?’, complete with eye roll. This theme continued for the rest of the evening.

I don't think I've ever received service like it, absolutely awful. Had about 5 different waiters because we kept getting forgotten about, chips came out cold and then 10 minutes later our steaks finally arrived but surprise surprise they were also cold, wasn't asked how our food was or if we would like any more drinks. After putting a complaint in to a member of staff, the bill arrived with the service charge on and they also gave us the customer feedback book to write in?! If they had any common sense then they would of missed both of those out, as they've now got a nice long complaint inside for the rest of the other customers to read. Definitely will not be returning and would not recommend to a friend

I Ordered tacos they was tiny and only had a little bit of mince at the bottom and the rest filled with leafs after i ate them i was still starving but didnt order anything else as i was scared itll be just as small as the tacos. Iv had a better meal FULL meal at my local chippy for less than half the price wont be returning ever again unless they add sides to there meals or make them bigger!!

First visit - not overly impressed - extortionately overpriced for what it was - London prices ? Buttermilk chicken was tasteless & pink’ inside, steak consisted of about 8 thin slices between 12 people, AND they added 12 1/2 % service which wasn’t impressive - we had to keep asking for things.
