Absolute pleasant experience. Very good waiters who know everything about the restaurant. Smiles all round. Food has authentic flavours and taste really good. Would recommend to everyone.

I am really picky with restaurants. But I become a passionate fan once they satisfy me, and Dishoom is certainly one of them.

Detail #1: Their crispy bun with pleasant buttery scent was far beyond what I expected. It works perfectly with strongly-spiced foods, which alone, might make beginners a bit overwhelmed.

Detail #2: They know how to make spices harmonized with ingredients. Their breakfast omelette is unpretentious but solid; it is mildly spiced in a way you can actually feel how eggs work with spices.

Late lunch (13.45) 2 weeks ago. The place was buzzing. "Would you mind sharing a table downstairs?" "Not at all," said I.
Seated within 2 minutes. Menus arrived immediately via a charming waitress. Introductory drinks within minutes and our orders taken.
We ordered a multi-dish meal which arrived correctly as starter and main and in a very timely fashion.
The quality, quantity and flavours of each dish were superb.
I have nothing but admiration for this restaurant. Many a West End restaurant of all genres would do well to take a leaf out of Dishoom's book.
I visited first perhaps two years ago; in my opinion it is even better now than then, if that's possible!
My guest was equally impressed

Wow. Just wow. After reading all the reviews online, I figured this place was going to be over hyped. Was I wrong! Yes, the wait is long. But it goes to show you just how popular the place is. Waited for about 40 minutes to get a table. The staff, amazing. The restaurant alone would get 5 starts from me just because of them. Our server took the time to explain the menu. Even suggested some items, and some items to avoid. The food was amazing. Portions are good, and it was beautifully seasoned. Would not hesitate to go back!

This is a very decent restaurant. You can get authentic Indian cuisines here. Since it is famous for its food, you might end up waiting in a long queue to enjoy their food if you do not book one day ahead. I recommend to try this restaurant and to book one day ahead. Price is fair and food is excellent. Customer service is extraordinary, and they may even serve you an Indian tea for free if you have to wait in the long queue.

On behalf of my sister. I could not believe my ears when I heard this on loud speaker first hand.

- I have just encountered the worst service by Dishoom. I Booked a table for 6 people a month in advance for my birthday and really happy I managed to get a table. Spoke to a customer service rep today to confirm my booking as I did not receive the promised email - to be told I was a liar, that my booking did not exist and could not be trusted with my explanation of why I was calling. I have never been so insulted by someone whose job it is to help and represent such a "reputable" restaurant. There was no apology, no explanation - she was very patronising and left me quite upset and has ruined my birthday.

I want a full explanation & apology for the service provided by Dishoom in addition to getting my problem resolved.

Was served by a very charming man called Mo Ali, even though he was fasting he did everything he could to make our evening lovely with a smile.
He spent time with us and really made us feel welcome.
We would also like to thank the manager Ricky who very kindle have us complimentary desert, hats off to her she is doing a fantastic job.

Very good restaurant, from service to atmosphere, drink to food. Nicely decorated as traditional Bombay style.
The waiters are very helpful, they would guide you through the menu in a brief and clear way.
Baby/ kids friendly also. There is a lift for buggies to go downstairs and the comparatively busy environment allows baby to cry, a bit, without arise much notice to embarrass the parents ;-)
Super recommend!
Chicken ruby is superb as they use chicken thighs only.

Fantastic place with amazing Indian/Persian food and great ambiance. The staff is nice and the manager was very considerate after our waitress accidentally spilled sauce on my wife's blouse/coat. The restaurant does not take reservations for groups smaller than six after 6pm, which can be frustrating as the dinner wait can get up to an hour and a half. Recommend going for lunch (reservation not necessarily needed but still advised) or for dinner before 6pm with a reservation.
