The famous India sage, Santoshbhai Clausji, told us all that Christmas is the season of goodwill & generosity. How right he was. So in the spirit of giving, here is another magic password for an Xmas pudding, before 6pm, on us. Just say “My heart goes hadippa for pudding.”

What an amazing experience. We went to Dishoom as this has been my favourite Indian restaurant since I went to their branch in Shoredich about 7-8 years ago. I wanted to treat my sister to her her"newly wed" treat and arrived with no booking. The manager seated us immediately in a lovely booth. The service throughout was impeccable and we were treated to a complimentary bottle of prosecco as a wedding gift. What a place, what device and now to the food. Wowwwww, we are originally from Pakistan and love this kind of mixed food, the taste, presentation, portions everything was on point. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Thanks Dishoom for making this an extra special afternoon!!!

Too busy eating this great food to waste time taking photos. A new dining experience for me and I cant wait to do it again. Atmosphere great, service great. Keema pau, prawns, chicken biriani and masala dhal. Bang on the button !

Love Dishoom, particularly for breakfast. This is the 3rd one we’ve tried, and, while it doesn’t quite have the quirky charm of the Shoreditch branch with it’s lovely peaceful conservatory, the food is equally good, and it was nice to sit outside for a leisurely breakfast.

If you are looking for authentic Indian taste this is the place to be! From filling starters to mains this place gives you value for money. Love the decor and thought it's jam packed it doesn't feel suffocating. Can't wait to come back!

Dishoom is not only amazing food, the staff is so incredibly friendly! A big thank you to Marcin, our server, he was very helpful when we realized we misunderstood our Euro Star departure time and had 35 minutes to catch our train. He quickly cashed us out and I was clumsy and knocked over a empty glass, he told me to go and it was no problem, he’d clean it up. Please tell him thank you from us and that we made our train back to Paris just in the nick of time.

Been here a few times now, would highly recommend, love the morning breakfast, I have egg bacon in naan bread 😋delicious, and the staff are always friendly and pleasant.

Amazing place, no queue because I went quieter period. Only go quiet times because when we left and saw the queue outside... Ouch. Dodged that bullet loool. Great food. Hungry thinking about it already.

Gorgeous food!! Servers we're friendly and attentive. Just a little disappointed with the speed of service hence the 4 star rating. We had a desert missed then after pointing this out it Was still forgotten. Took a very long time to come out after which I had long finished mine. We did get an apology and and a free chai. Could have been offered a better compensation than that considering the service charge. Would definitely try it again though.

Excellent experience for my first visit here. Great service, food was decent but not amazing, but the overall experience was great. Beautiful building and great atmosphere. Would definitely come back. Very very busy so advise to book.

Beautiful place. Love the attention to detail especially in toilets. Very colonial. But menu so confusing. Not usual Indian food we used to. I ordered chicken tikka masala...chicken tikka arrived. Apparently that's what it is. So dry and definitely would not have had rice with it. Waiter was hopeless at helping us choose. But I did have their take on Eton Mess...OMG died and gone to heaven.

The food was OK, fairly priced but not worth the hour of queuing. The service was slow and we had to wave down our waitress at several points to get service. 12.5% was automatically added to our bill for service though! I have had much better food from my local takeaway and Indian meals in Birmingham, blow Dishoom's away. Discerning Indian food lovers will be disappointed. Oh and the small print says that the food will be delivered to your table as and when it is ready. Our house black daal turned up as we finished. Although they did quite rightly, deduct this from our bill. I will not be going back to Dishoom.
