Do Something You Believe In – the UK's first jobs board for people and organisations that want to contribute to the common good – launches on 1 December. The website, sponsored by the Church of England, promotes vacancies from: • Faith-based organisations looking to attract people of faith, another faith, or no faith. • Employers who want to reach out to employed people or volunteers who want to contribute to the common good. • We at Do Something You Believe In have two core objectives: The first is to connect people of faith with employers and put employers in front of people of faith. • The second is to help people who want to use their professional skills to contribute to the common good, whether they are of that faith, another faith, or no faith. It's about making new connections. The more connections we make, the more inclusive we become. At faith-based organisations, we have vacancies for positions ranging from ordained ministry, lay leadership and voluntary roles, to the kind of jobs you would expect to see elsewhere such as those in customer service for example. For employers in the commercial sector, or other not-for-profit or charitable organisations you'll see a wide range of jobs for professionals ranging from financial accountants to HR professionals and communications specialists. What they all have in common is their capacity to contribute to the common good.
