mm just been to this restaurant on the quay side north shields had a meat board that consisted of 3 meats we had spiced rubbed chicken five hour slow cooked beef brisket Lebanese lamb kofta all cooked to perfection also had skinny chips and real chips with sides of corm on the cob and lots of delicious houses sauces my favorite with the green one looked very much like mushy peas it certainly was not a lovely spicy kick.. also last but no way least the chocolate brownie was heaven with ice cream which was gluten free loved the deco and the staff were very attentive will certainly be returning to this place excellent

What a great new place to visit at the fish quay . Staff were excellent when we popped in for drinks last night then we decided to try the chips they were gorgeous so I'm defiantly going back soon for a full meal �

We went today it was glorious sunshine so sat outside. The food was absolutely beautiful we had the meat platter. 3 meats 2 sides and 2 sauces for a reasonable price. We tried the steak, beef brisket and lamb kofta. All 3 dishes were amazing and more than enough for the two of us. The staff were lovely and came out to check everything was ok and we had enough drinks. A really lovely little place highly recommended and I will most definitely be returning.

Turkey burger was amazing!. Great portions, both the steak and pork chops were cooked perfectly.

The chef’s were happy to make a gorgeous sauce to compliment the steak which wasn’t on the menu �.

We would highly recommend the brownie and diam toffee crisp puddings �

Took my Uncle from New Zealand & my two year old daughter. The lamb Kofta kebab was amazing, loved the decor & it had a lovely atmosphere. The guy who served us was super friendly & the little touches like a glass of water on arrival was great. We’ll definitely be back.

This place is amazing. Tried it not long after opening, received a booking confirmation from Scott straight away and not just a generic message but from a man who cares. Everything perfect. Went again on Saturday with family, the lady who waited our table was excellent, the food is nothing less than outstanding and we would have paid more than we had to. Presentation is great, local beer on keg which is served well and with a conscious mind and again... the food, their chef(s) knows exactly what they are doing. All with open windows looking over the Quay in a beautiful part of the world. Taphouse is good, this place is flawless. Only issue now is I have to work harder to earn more money and eat here every night. Thank you Scott and your team, especially the lady with such a personality on Saturday night. Thank you

My (eats like a famished tapeworm) son and I ordered the meat board. It did not disappoint. Very tasty meat, sides and sauces. Attentive staff, great venue, well worth a visit. We visited on night 2 of opening..all seemed like the place had been open for years... Didn't seem like anything needed ironing out. Very happy to see a new Fish Quay place open.. Long may it last...

Me and my partner came in last nite for the 1st time and i have to say we were not disappointed. The food was amazing we had the 3 meats board between us in it was plenty for the two of us. Staff very friendly and gd service even tho it was busy. The cocktails well we just had to try them all and again very nice indeed in fact we ended up stayin all nite lol

Me and my hubby popped in here for a drink on Saturday afternoon. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff and manager! Must say the red zinfandel wine is amazing �

We will definitely be back in for another glass or 2! Food menu looks very good too x

Cooked to perfection. No added frills which i hate, everything was just as we ordered. Staff lovely & even had a lovely chat with manager, not like me, pmsl.

Will definitely return even if its to order home cooked onion rings with our steak.

I had heard good things about this place and after todays visit I can see why. Food, decor and drinks menu are excellent. My wife, young son and I sat next to the open bi-folding windows and ordered the meat platter. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Scott, Kammie and team really looked after us and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back and recommending to friends and family.

We shared the 5 meat platter between 3 adults! A choice of meats, 3 side dishes and 3 sauces! We were asked how we wanted the our meats cooked and came out perfect- compliments to the chef!

Great lunch yesterday with my mum, we both thoroughly enjoyed the Brisket Hash on the brunch menu. Lovely place, great service and look forward to another visit and trying the main menu.

You all went above and beyond all of our expectations for our wedding, and we are so thankful for everything, it was perfect.

The food was absolutely amazing, and all of our guests commented on it.

Been for dinner today with the family and it was absolutely outstanding, most of us had the lamb but one had the mixed meats, everything was cooked perfectly, a little waiting time but they are busy and let's face it you cant rush perfection. Amazing Halloumi flat bread. Lovely little place and great attention to detail with a glass of water served to each of us before we ordered our drinks. Great food and great service. We’ll definitely be back �
