Dog And Parrot take on Derby 10k.... On 7th April, Stephen Miffy Smith, Jo Penny and Sarah Lambert will be taking on Derby 10k. They will be raising money for Footprints Conductive Education Centre, a charity we have supported in a few different ways. Miffy, Jo and Sarah (all Forest fans) will be running from Pride Park ūüė≥ and would love to raise as much as possible for Footprints. Visited last night for the first time. The landlord was lovely, I asked what drinks they serve as we aren't really real ale drinkers, he then offered me several samples of his fruity ciders which are delicious. He then took the time to sit with us at our table for a little chat. Really nice of him when it was so busy. Lovely place and we shall definitely be back.

The staff are friendly and are more than happy to oblige with drink requests. There are a nice selection of real ales and specialist ciders available to cover all tastes. A nice warm atmosphere. Recommended.

Such a great place to chill and have a pint or two, very clean and rustic, loved that there was no music playing, made for a good afternoon, will def return.

Lovely pub. Good range of beers and ciders that change every week. Very dog and parrot friendly atmosphere. I was in Easter bank holiday Sunday for the accoustic session. Good time had by every one in there.

Absolutely fantastic, staying at a hotel nearby and I am so glad we found this place it has a really really nice feel to it, the customers I encountered have all been really nice too. Couldn’t be happier!

A bloke with a well trimmed beard gave us advice as visitors on where to try etc for food and drinks, and also told us about upcoming events. A tall blonde lady behind he bar has been brilliant all night, served us the first time and recommended something lovely which was similar to what we asked for and we were switched, and she’s has been happy and bubbly all night, makes a massive difference to the atmosphere!

Loved it here. Only been once but really relaxed and great beer! Lovely setting too. Will be returning!

First time visitor yesterday , and I loved this pub , a real old fashioned type of pub with an industrial feel to it , and a very warm welcome from the staff.

There was a varied selection of lovely Real Ales , served by very friendly staff.

Came here today (24.2.18) to join in the 1st year anniversary celebrations...I had enquired a few days previous about wheelchair accessibility as my client that I support is a massive music lover and I knew he would love the acts, I got a really fast and friendly response to say they could accommodate him, I was totally overwhelmed when we arrived and they had reserved a place right at the front without me even asking them too! My clients face just showed how happy he was and made the whole afternoon! Thank you so much staff..your little gesture went a massive long way!! Can‚Äôt thank you all enough! Happy Birthday ÔŅĹ
