DOHarchitecture secured Planning approval on 11th February 2020 for the "Erection of first floor side extension, single storey rear infill extension, partial conversion of garage to habitable accommodation and part raising of flat roof over single storey extension to rear" to a detached house in Shepperton, Surrey. No issues with Planning, which meant a smooth determination process prior to proceeding with the Building Regulation/working drawings.

DOHarchitecture were involved in both the Planning and Building Regulation stages for part two storey and part first floor side/rear extensions along with internal and external alterations to a detached property in Farnham, Surrey. The resulting extensions and alterations provided an open plan Kitchen/Breakfast/Dining and Snug area along with a separate Utility and Living area on the ground floor and an additional Bedroom with En-suite on the first floor. The outside areas are complete and there are just some minor internal bits to finish off, which have really transformed the house for the whole family.

DOHarchitecture secured Planning approval on 24th January 2020 for a "Proposed portico to front of dwelling and alterations/replacement of first floor door/window to front elevation with new window" to a detached house in Virginia Water, Surrey. This is the first phase of the project and once complete, the second phase will comprise single storey rear and first floor side extensions along with internal alterations.

DOHarchitecture secured Planning approval on 17th January 2020 for an "Open porch to front, alterations to windows/doors to ground floor front and rear elevations and first floor side extensions" to a detached house in Virginia Water, Surrey. We were appointed to produce the Building Regulation/working drawings for this site following grant of Planning approval by others. While assessing the previous Planning approved drawings, we felt some further changes could be made that would benefit the design, which resulted in a revised Planning application being submitted and now approved.

DOHarchitecture secured Planning approval on 20th January 2020 for the "Erection of a single storey rear extension" to a church hall in Fleet, Hampshire. Due to the presence of a number of existing trees along the boundary, we had instructed an Arboriculturalist to assist us with the preparation and submission of the Planning application. The Local Planning Authority raised no concerns during the determination process, which resulted in a positive outcome.

DOHarchitecture secured Planning and Building Regulation approvals for a single storey rear extension along with internal alterations to this detached property in Farnham, Surrey. To the rear of the property were separate Family, Kitchen and Utility areas along with a W.C. The extension squared off the rear corner of the building, which opened it up to provide an open plan Kitchen, Breakfast and Snug area and has been complemented by the large sliding doors and rooflights above. Internal re-modelling meant we were able to provide a larger and more usable Utility area and a W.C., which is accessed via a walk-through Coats area. Due to the profile of the existing building and positions/sizes of windows, we felt a flat roof and parapet wall would tie in well and we are very happy with the end results, both internally and externally.

DOHarchitecture sought Planning and Building Regulation approvals for a single storey rear extension along with internal alterations to this semi-detached property in Ash, Surrey. Deep foul and surface water drains were identified to the rear of the property so the new foundations had to go very deep. Once we were out of the ground, the rest of the project was pretty much a smooth process and what a transformation. The new extension previously occupied separate Kitchen and Dining areas and once they were knocked through and extended, the new large open plan space is now a very warm and well presented entertaining area.

DOHarchitecture secured Planning approval on 7th January 2020 for a "Single storey rear extension and alterations to fenestration" to a semi-detached property in Sunningdale, Berkshire. The site is located within the Green Belt, which does restrict the development potential. However, the extension is of a modest size and scale and matches that of the neighbour, which DOHarchitecture was also involved with.

DOHarchitecture sought Planning approval on 2nd January 2020 for "Replacement windows" to a flat in Cranleigh, Surrey. The building is located within a conservation area and to the rear of a Grade II listed building. An attempt to secure Planning approval by a third party had been previously refused and dismissed at appeal. Following the appointment of DOHarchitecture, we held meetings with various window suppliers and sought Pre-application advice from the LPA, which led to securing formal Planning approval.

The first phase was the two storey front extension and associated alterations, which has now been completed. The second phase will concentrate on the rear and of which the works will be undertaken in 1-2 years time.

DOHarchitecture sought Planning approval on 13th November 2019 for the "Erection of part single storey rear part two storey side extension, loft conversion into habitable accommodation and alterations to fenestration with associated works and landscaping" in Chobham, Surrey. We had already sought Planning approval for a slightly larger scheme and due to costs, the proposals have been scaled back to bring them more in line with the budget. We had to go back through the formal 8 week determination process, which has now been secured.
