About Dorich House Museum

Dorich House Museum is the former home of the internationally acclaimed Estonian Sculptor Dora Gordine (1895-1991) and her husband, the Hon. Richard Hare.

Dorich House Museum Description

Following Kingston University guidelines regarding government advice on the spread of Covid-19 / Coronavirus, Dorich House Museum and our partner venue Stanley Picker Gallery and are now closed with immediate effect until further notice.

The Museum and Gallery teams will continue to work remotely to support our artists, fellows, students and local communities.

Dorich House Museum is open to the public on our open days from 11am to 5pm (last entry at 4. 30pm). There is no need to book to attend an open day.
In order to view the house and the collections you will need to allow at least one hour.

Group Visits

A private tour is available at a cost of £10 per person. (including tea and coffee). There must be a minimum of ten people in the group and it is essential that these are booked in advance.

Facilities and Access

Dorich House is situated across three floors and does not have a lift. The flat and roof terrace are accessible only by a narrow staircase.
