Dorset Agenda 21 (Da21)

da21 is an independent charity. We work cooperatively with local people, communities, businesses, educational bodies, local government and other organisations to encourage sustainable living in Dorset. (Charity Number : 1102528, Company Number: 4988176). We currently have 8 trustees on our board and 2 members of Staff . Our objectives are: (1) To promote sustainable development and the prudent use of natural resources; (2) To advance education and research about sustainable development and the protection of the environmentWe do this by: (1) Raising public awareness and understanding about sustainability (2) Support or initiate projects which demonstrate sustainability (3) Influence decision makers to take sustainability into account throughout their decision makingWe have undertaken a number of projects in the past, and are currently delivering a lottery funded 3-year capacity building project for the Environmental 3rd Sector in Dorset.
