Getting out into nature can really boost your brain, help you to be more creative and give you a chance to connect with friends and colleagues in a more relaxed environment. Our staff swapped ideas for improving life at work while we were out on a beautiful walk along the Castleman Trailway near #Merley in #Poole. Part of our #health and #wellbeing day, it really lifted our spirits and reminded us how important it is to take a break. 🌱🌲🌳☘

We had a fantastic day today learning and sharing lots of information, tips and techniques for our staff to look after their wellbeing. Basing the day on the 5 steps to #wellbeing (#connect, #takenotice, #beactive, #keeplearning and #give) staff took part in a range of activities including walking in the woods, laughter yoga, Mental Health first aid and much more. Thanks to everyone who came along and spoke, ran sessions or staffed stalls. And a particular thanks to everyone who attended and got involved in the day. They’ll now be out spreading the word in their teams. Brilliant! #wearebettereveryday

We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Fire Safety Advisor based in Poole, Dorset with a requirement to travel to our other Trust sites.
The successful applicant will have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and be able to deliver theoretical and practical fire safety training and be a member of either the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) or Institute of Fire Prevention Officers (IFPO).
There will also be a requirement to carry out fire risk as...sessments and audits and to provide practical advice to all staff on fire safety measures requiring a firm grasp of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 along with full practical understanding of interpretation of the Building Regulations 2010.
Knowledge of the HTM Firecode suite of documents is desirable; also working within the NHS would be an advantage.

We have a new 15 hour per week post working within the Dorset Bladder and Bowel Service to support the delivery of the Children’s Continence Service to children and their families.
The community nursery nurse will work independently using their own initiative, organisational and time management skills and work autonomously to promote healthy bladder and bowels in children and young people, assisting them in reaching their full potential in attaining continence.
