Out of 1027 train stations in the UK, Leighton Buzzard ranks number 56 for bike thefts 2017-18 with just 22 bikes reported as stolen and number 102 for bike thefts 2018-19 with just 15 bikes reported as stolen. So bike theft at the station is decreasing according to these figures. Are these figures accurate or are people just not bothering to report thefts as nothing is done about it?

Now this looks like fun and I’ve done it myself but expect the need for a full strip down of the bike after, especially if it’s in the sea. Unless you can do it yourself you’re looking at least £200 bill to stop future problems - just like dogs in hot cars, bikes should never be dunked in water..!!
