Another chilly day! Rex and Enid couldn't wait for Dotties to open on Friday. They 'so' needed a luxury HOT white Belgium hot chocolate & a Nutella waffle!!

Went for a spot ice cream today before getting on the steam trains and I must say it's the best I've ever tasted!! The staff were lovely and chatty and the gelato tastes amazing! Wouldn't go anywhere else! �����

Visited Dottie’s and couldn’t recommend it more! The ice cream is delicious and was hard to choose from all the flavours. The staff are more than helpful and the prices are more reasonable, especially for the high quality of ice cream served. I will definitely be returning and can’t wait for my next visit. Would recommend anyone to visit if they haven’t already.

Staff are very welcoming and friendly. My Niece who has a cows milk and soya allergy was able to have one too. The gelato was delicious. We will definitely return when in Pickering, the only thing is what to try next. A Sundae, waffle?....decisions decisions

Great customer service. My mum asked for a banana on her waffle and the staff went to the co-op nearby to get one especially- and then didn’t even charge us for it.

Lovely food and drink too, reasonably priced.

For starters beautiful gelato. Top notch, just what we needed as a pit stop on our way home. Also during the day they had freezer difficulties but were still willing to accommodate our needs towards the end of the day. Very kind staff. Will be back for a longer stay and a sit in next time.

Finding Dotties absolutely made our day yesterday. We travelled from Whitby on the steam train then spotted this wonderful place. We could have spent all afternoon here enjoying the retro music, the fab decor, delicious food, amazing gelato & the friendly ladies in their cath kidston pinnies. �

Fabulous place very relaxing lovely food and coffee and most of all your ice-cream is to die for.

Staff were very attentive and very friendly we will be regular's

Exceptional place. Today they hosted grand daughters 1st Birthday afternoon tea, the food was amazing, the ice cream delicious. The staff are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. A very big thank you to the owner for making it a perfect 1st Birthday treat. Xx

Came up for the sixties weekend went in several times for the fab ice cream brownie choc Sunday. Would have liked to live there it was heaven. The tamla Motown and northern soul on Saturday night was great would love to do it again next year would bring the e type jag and park outside if allowed.

Brilliant atmosphere, cheeky but really lovely ladies, ice cream was brilliant, but best pot of tea I had for years. We loved it will be back :)

Best ice cream (gelato) we've ever had, I had chocolate orange & lemon meringue, my partner had double chocolate and sugar free hazelnut and children had bubblegum, Eton mess & Lime Cheesecake, 5 stars for all! Thank you!

Absolutely lovely food and atmosphere! Come away just for the weekend and already called in for food twice. Definitely planning on coming back to Pickering again just to call here!

Dotties really captures the vintage spirit that’s Pickering has. The ice cream is unbeatable. Unique flavours which are excellently made.

The staff are more than friendly and welcoming and the cafe itself is really well kept.



I definitely will be going again when I next visit Pickering or the trains!

Please remember when you visit,good quality handmade food takes time. If you have a train to catch please give yourself plenty time to fully enjoy a relaxing, quality dotties experience ; you won't be disappointed :D

Dotties was an amazing find down a side street in Pickering. Beautifully presented courtyard with double doors into the lovely spotlessly clean cafe and very impressive selection of Gelato Ice Creams. I was undecided which of the 2 Vanillas to choose so I was given a taster of them both by one of Dotties very helpful staff. I chose the 1930 recipe vanilla & my Partner had the honeycomb crunch both finished off with a crisp & tasty Dotties wafer. We had visited Dotties earlier in the day for a Delicious Cherry Scone & Cappuccino & Flat White, all of which were perfect and very well presented.We plan to visit again in the very near future.We sat outside in the courtyard with our dog who was also welcome to be with us.A very pleasurable experience.
