All finished for the year - I hope the couple who are receiving this are reminded of their beautiful wedding! I'm off to put my feet up and wait for the new member of our family to make an appearance 👶

Tonight at pottery class I crafted a couple of little pregnant lady torsos! As you may be able to tell, I am expecting my own bundle of joy, due around Christmas. This is why I've been pretty quiet since the summer, as stitching has had to take a bit of a back seat. I do have one more embroidery to do before Christmas, which I'll share with you, but it's fair to say I might be a bit preoccupied for a little while in the New Year!

I've been working on a little project all term in my pottery class - I'm making ten ceramic butterflies to hang on the wall. Here are the first ones out of the kiln! And the next three to go in. Only three to go - but they are the most complex so wish me luck! These are all common British butterflies - can you ID any of them?

Hello everyone, sorry I’ve been absent for a while! A few things have been going on behind the scenes here and I’ve not been working on Dotty much. I’m still here though and today I picked up my scissors again and started planning a new picture for the first time in ages! It’ll look better when I’ve transferred this to the background fabric - looking forward to it!
