What a place to stay. Except the 14 km walk around london
But nothing to do with double tree. I seen everything and i chose to walk it. Breath taking
Went to the Double Tree for afternoon tea....had a fantastic time. It was a magical experience....food,atmosphere all was on point.
We have had a very enjoyable stay here. The management is working very hard to ensure guests are happy and comfortable. A beautifully appointed room, very quiet and newly remodeled. Alessia in the restaurant is gracious and accommodating, well versed in excellent customer service. We will happily return here on our next visit to London.
We got back home on Wednesday after spending 5 nights in this wonderful hotel, fantastic location, helpful staff, lovely rooms and a delicious buffet breakfast (especially the bacon, cooked just right!) Without a doubt we would stay here again.
Thank you so much Beth Ross for booking our rooms for my friends & I to celebrate my 50th. Our rooms were gorgeous, spacious, comfortable. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly, helpful, smiley and fun. A really great team of staff. Only problem was we couldn't buy a bottle of prosecco from the bar last night as they'd run out! #thirdworldproblems!! We all loved it and we'll definitely be staying again xxx
Stayed just 1 night (Wed 28 Jun). Checkin was quick & professional. Wanted to stay Holiday Inn Express City ( where I've stayed before) but pleasantly surprised that DoubleTree Islington rate including breakfast was £50 cheaper which was good for both wallet & stomach as the breakfast buffet head & shoulders better than HIE. Room including bathroom very good and, again, better than HIE. All staff were courteous, professional & helpful. Staff also smiling - how nice 😊 Convient lovation, only a short walk from Angel tube station. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Lovely and clean.
Very friendly staff.Fab breakfast choices.lovely room and king size comfy bed.
Would stay again when next in London.
I’m really impressed with the service here. 😊 the breakfast was really nice also.
I stayed here for a weekend recently and was given a room on the Executive Floor. The bed was absolutely huge, room spotlessly clean and staff were extremely helpful, even giving me an umbrella to take out with me when it started to rain. The high street with its many shops and bars is literally around the corner but the hotel is still nice and peaceful at night, so I had no trouble sleeping. Lovely to have the Executive Floor perks such as a private elevator and Executive Lounge with a seemingly endless supply of newspapers, snacks and drinks for me to tuck into. Honestly one of the best hotel experiences I've had in London (and I'm not just saying that because of the free cookie)
Have stayed here 6 times now . Very clean , staff friendly , good bar, nice food . Right on the doorstep of Angel tube station . Can't fault the place .
Great staff especially Sarah at the reception, very convenient next to Angel station. Breakfast is great. Beds are incredibly comfortable! Will definitely come back!
Great hotel at a great rate. 440€ for three nights for 1adult and 2 children incl breakfast. Hotel is modern, breakfast good and the gym is great.
Will definitely stay here again.
Great front desk staff. They all went out of their way to help me. I would stay there again. Convenient to Eurostar and Angel station underground. Everything is easily accessible.
Excellent location not far from tube station lovely welcome free cookies on arrival room was lovely and spacious very clean they even let us check in before check in time which was lovely bonus on a very hot day which was great for us lovely choice for breakfast you could even make your own smoothies excellent would defiantly stay there again
The hotel was lovely, nice little touch with the warm cookies when you check in. The room was nice, beds comfortable. I think the prices you charge for breakfast are far too much and for the price we paid for the room some sort of breakfast should be included even if it's a continental one. Most the staff seemed friendly enough although the man who checked us in did seen to look down his nose at us.
Room and food was nice. The location is ideal as it is close to the centre. I would recommend it.
Great location, friendly staff, and nice executive lounge! Just left you today, but I am longing to come back!
First time at The Double Tree and will definitely come back next year Room was lovely just me and my Mrs excellent location we were there for 2 nights visiting our Granddaughter who lives in Islington so spot on we only had breakfast but will use the restaurant for evening meal next time. Staff were also very helpful so thank you.
So So but not that great experience. Breakfast is same every day no choice. Staff is fine but not that great experience, location is good but value for money is less
