We're also pleased to start taking bookings from Friday 18th onwards. Our opening times are: Tues to Sat: 5pm - Late Sun: 12pm - 8pm

The time we have all been waiting for is finally here!

As some of you may have noticed the scaffolding is down 🎉 However there is still a bit of work to do. The good thing is, is that we are nearly there! We are looking to open within the next 3 weeks! Stay tuned more for details.

Look what's coming along nicely! We're so excited that the shop front is getting there. We're still not 100% sure when we're opening yet but watch this space for details as soon as we get them.

Another update for you all, and a video too!
You've probably seen the front of the restaurant with scaffolding and corrugated iron. Doesn't look amazing but it'll keep everyone safe on the pavement.
Work has started on the damaged shop front. You can see in the video, one of our lovely builders has been ripping it out.
... The designs of the shop front are all finished. Final measurements have been taken and the parts will start being manufactured soon (we hope!)
We're waiting for a structural engineer to come and make sure everything is okay. They're coming early next week so fingers crossed it all goes well.
Things are moving slowly but surely, we'll get there eventually! Thanks again for all your support, check back soon for more updates.

Hi everyone! Thank you so much to everyone who has contacted us to ask how we are and when we're opening. We've been a bit quiet as everything has been progressing much slower than we expected with the insurance side of things. However, we've got a shopfitter in place so we'll start giving you more regular updates on how we're getting on.
The restaurant is now boarded up for safety and you can see in the photo that we've also been working on a separate issue with the floorin...g. We're trying to discover why we've been getting water damage but it's still a mystery!
Our shopfitter has been working on some designs for the restaurant front which we're very excited about! And we're currently waiting for the council to give us a permit to put scaffolding up in front of the shop. It takes a minimum of 30 days - fingers crossed it doesn't take too long.
We're still not sure when the work will be ready but in the meantime look out for our next update on here!

This morning we got broken into taking loads of frozen meat, prawns and a suckling pig, they also took Portuguese wine and spirits. So if you get offered anything or if you see any of these items on selling sites please inform the police.

Late last night a car drove into our restaurant causing significant damage. No-one was hurt but we will be closed until further notice. We'll be contacting everyone who has made bookings and will be working hard to re-open as soon as possible.
