Yesterday me & the boyfriend kind of fell into the Dovecot after finding out the kitchen was closed in the initial restaurant we wanted to visit... HOWEVER, how happy I was that the kitchen was closed. 🍽
We were greeted by the lovely Amy in her awesome bandana who grabbed us both a drink (after recommending a gorgeous raspberry based gin for me) whilst we perused the varied menu. 🍔
I was stuck between a pulled pork parmo or the burger sliders. Jakie ordered the Dovecot burger which had a devine description. I can honestly say, that the burger sliders were the BEST burgers i've ever put in my face. 🤤
The salad was fresh & crunchy & was drizzled in a gorgeous dressing & the burgers were just something else. Jake really enjoyed his burger & kept pulling various faces of satisfaction at me. We also polished off a fabulous bowl of sweet spud fries.. ALL UNDER £30! 💰
We are often looking out for new places to try & I honestly can't wait to come back to try many other dishes from the menu. Definately added to our favourites list ❤️

Was in the bar Saturday night with a mate! Have to say the young DJ on the decks was amazing! How he knew all those old classic dance tunes from way back I'll never know! Awesome tunes man! Cheers!��
Popped in yesterday after a hard days graft shopping in Boro!
We chose a booth and within minutes a member of the crew was at our table asking if she could get us drinks, it wasn't particularly busy, and I would of quite happily made my way to the bar....but the table service was a lovely welcoming touch!
Drinks arrived quick smart and we're well presented in rather stylish glasses!
We ordered food, I got the classic sliders which were totes amazing, highly recommended!
My pal ordered the Belly Pork and Burnt End Mash, which was huge....it was like a side order of pig! (His only gripe was that it should for his preference come with some kinda jus/gravy) however he cleaned the plate!
I defo recommend the Home Fried Chips.....the BEST in town I reckon!
Between the two of us, quite a few double Rhubarb Gins and Ginger and a few cocktails our bill came to less than £60....I was well impressed!
It's great to know Boro has these gems dotted about, Boro gets some bad press.....but I reckon joints like the Dovecot help soften the blow.

Popped in for a pre-match drink with my son, ended up staying for 2. We both loved it. Lovely welcoming staff, fantastic music,clean and comfortable seating.
Would definitely recommend to others.
Never had a bad night here, great choice of gins and the bar staff are helpful, friendly and will always recommend a gin for you.
Me and my partner popped in here yesterday for some lunch and loved it!
Such a clean, modern restaurant/ bar with an exceptional selection of gins ! The food was delicious and the place had a lovely atmosphere. The lady who served us was very polite and helpful, also having a good knowledge of the menu, (sorry i can't remember your name �) we will defiantly be coming again when we return to the area.

I had my baby shower at dovecot, the catering was outstanding especially the restaurant quality of the buffet food, and all the staff were extremely helpful with helping set the day up. Jamie (bar supervisor) was absolutely brilliant at organising the whole thing and I can't thank her her enough for coordinating it all for me. I would recommend dovecot bar to anyone who's wanting to host a special event. Thank you so much for a wonderful day

Great atmosphere with a fantastic service. Toilets were immaculate looking forward to returning again!!
Came here for my birthday with some friends, the atmosphere was great. We tried a few cocktails, my favourite was definitely the red head in bed. Although it was really busy, the staff where very attentive. The bar maid, jenny, was very helpful in choosing what to drink. As I'm not a big gin drinker it was great having someone who knew so much about each gin. Will 100% be back in the future, hoping to come for food aswell as drinks next time.
I have been in for a drink a couple of times and for food once. Love the choice of gins, obviously! Liked the lunch I had a couple of weeks ago and no complaints at all about the service.
First visit Brilliant afternoon staff were great recommend what gin to try will definitely go back 👍
During the day or evening Dovecot Bar is an enjoyable experience, great selection of beers and best pint of Moretti in the town.

Me and the wife came yesterday for lunch and was great untill we got home and we both had the too bob bits ....

Great place, 3 stars as the toilets are a disgrace. No locks on the doors and they swing out over, making a � a mamouth task!
Came here last week, ordered a parmo and they had ran out of chips and sweet potato fries, which we didn’t until the chef was rude and told us to go to elsewhere but we already drinks. Very disgusting attitude, it made us feel very unwelcome! However the waitresses were lovely.
