Took the wife and kids for a two night stay. Lovely location in the middle of a forest. Beautiful scenery and buildings nearby. The pitches were massive. Although we only had a 6 berth tent, I reckon you could fit six of them on one pitch (minus cars).
Choice of electricity points, or without.
Outdoor swimming pool was clean and the paddling pool was warm.
Nice little adventure playground to let the sprogs run off some steam.

The on-site pub was fairly nice. Cost £12-something for a Jack & Coke, Kopperberg and two J2Os, which I think is fairly resonable.
We didn't dine there, but the prices looked okay. The pub also doubles as a late shop for essentials when the main on-site shop is closed.
There's also a kiosk which serves breakfast, lunch and tea to take back to your tent if you can't be bothered to cook.

The staff were very friendly and show you to your pitch by riding ahead on bicycles. And the 10.30pm 'quieten down' time was a blessing for us, having young children.

I'll definitely be coming back again, with friends and family in tow.

Great campsite with good facilities. Shower block, toilets, washing facilities, bar, restaurant, shop really good for families. We had no problems. The outdoor pool is heated there is no life guard so responsibly is down to you...but this pool stank on our visit..... It appeared very murky so lack of chemicals and even the kids commented on how you couldn't see under water with your goggles on. They weren't in for long and glad it had hidden the swimming costumes till the last day! Made me feel quite ill I guess people can't be bothered to use toilets ! Sick

Stayed Friday to Sunday in July 2017. I have only good things to say about this site. The location is excellent surround by forrest. The layout is also very good not too official, kids running around all over the place riding bikes climbing trees perfect, my two girls loved it. Has a nice kids climbing frame in central position so easy to keep an eye on them. There is a quieter field away from this if you don't have children. The site has its own bar and café they looked nice but I didn't use them so can't comment. Also has a out door swimming pool. Overall very good family feel to it in nice location.

Brilliant park. Great for kids with loads to do. Lovely heated pool, walks, on site shop and pub. Food reasonably priced but a bit slow due to being under staffed this weekend. Food tasted good and service friendly. Would recommend and re visit

Sadly the standards have fallen since David and Karen ran this site. We were there for 6 days, the shop was seldom open during the day and the bar was never open during the week. The toilets were cleaned but not often enough during the weekend and the rubbish bins were not emptied often enough. The general attitude of the staff was very poor

A family weekend away in the meadow field was just perfect. 'offline' family time in the woods with a refreshing pool, table tennis, playgrounds and plenty of clean toilets and showers and not to forget the forest and nature at your doorstep! Best way to reconnect as a family!
