My name is Dr Angharad Hewins, or Dr A, and I qualified as a medical doctor in 2010. I am also a botulinum toxin and dermal filler practitioner, trained by Oris Medical Ltd, a programme run exclusively for doctors and dentists.
Using these techniques I can help smooth out those troublesome wrinkles, therefore reducing the signs of ageing and slowing its progression. By having these techniques carried out by a trained medical professional, you are in safe hands.
I will only use market-leading brands to undertake my aesthetic work and currently use the original and best botulinum toxin brand, or BOTOX® made by Allergan. In the case of dermal fillers, I use the Juvederm® Ultra range.
Botox® is usually only used in the upper face, and there are three areas that contribute to the signs of ageing:
crows feet,
frown lines (number "11" between the eyebrows),
Forehead.
Pricing starts at £160 for one area, £220 for two areas and £250 for all 3 areas.
The effects of Botox® should last between 3 and 4 months, and it takes between 4 days and two weeks to take its full effect.
Dermal fillers are used in the lower face to define, shape and plump up the lips, marionette lines, and nasolabial folds. The prices for these treatments are charged per syringe used as follows:
Juvederm® 0. 55ml syringe (small) £160
Juvederm® 1ml syringe (large) £280
The number of syringes required will depend on your needs and will be discussed in your free, no obligation consultation, prior to treatment.
Prices include a pre-treatment consultation to discuss your requirements and general health to ensure that it is safe to proceed, immediately after which we can make start on making you look your best! Of course you have the option to think about it and return for your treatments at a later appointment if you prefer.
