Not long now! The repair centre is getting busier as people drag out thier kites. Get your kites out NOW and fully check them through as no wind at present. So, so many people drag out their kites, get to the beach THEN remember it needed a new valve, pin prick sorting or some other work that may affect the session. Keep your kit ready to use and save that session :)

Leaky bladders! I hate leaky bladders, we have a great success rate repairing them or replacing them using the Dr Tuba bladder system but did you know a lot of the problems can be avoided?
How many times do you drop your pump in the sand and not even think? You then insert the sandy end into the valve and pump.... What you are doing is putting sand into the bladder. Tiny shards of sometimes razor sharp rock into your once airtight bladder? See where I am going with this??? Th...e first photo shows a bladder with a fair bit of sand in it from normal use. It has two pin prick holes from the sand. If we just repair without removing the sand it will happen again. We remove the end of the bladder, wash it out and re end the bladder. It is a time consuming process that can be cheaper to replace the bladder. Easy answer? Be extra careful when inflating your kite and STOP putting half the beach in it!!

Working on the photos now but in the new year we will be giving self repair tips and notes of what to watch on your kite. We get so many in for repair that with a little basic maintenance and care would never happened. Dr Tuba repair products can nip half the expensive repairs in the bud.
