Who doesn't love the perfect excuse to have a coffee, a catch up and to meet new friends? Here at Drakes knaresborough we are hosting a coffee morning in support of Macmillan cancer! Come visit us on the 29th of September between 9.30am and 11am for a coffee, some cake and your chance to win at a raffle. All you need to bring is yourself, money for the tea and raffle, and good spirits. All prizes have been donated generously by local businesses and market stall holders in knaresborough. It was extremely busy because of the bed race and expected a long wait but we were served quickly. The fish was beautiful, batter cripy and very reasonable priced. Staff friendly and efficient. Thank you, we'll be back x

Absolutely the nicest piece of battered fish I've had in years. The children loved their burgers and we all enjoyed the service. Not one single complaint, a wonderful impromptu escape from the sudden lapse in weather! Thank you.

The chips are nice not greasy at all, my son had the fish aswell which he really enjoyed, we have eaten in the restaurant before which was also a very good experience with good food

Lovely fish and chips but terrible service! Meal came with not long to wait, but then after 20 minutes since finishing our meal, still no waitress clearing the table and asking about desserts. In the end, I had to go and find one. When she came, she informed us that the microwave was broken so there were no desserts! So asked for the bill, which was wrong as they’d included the desserts!

It would of got more but I asked for small fish and chips and was told I couldn't as I had to have regular so I did leave some shame on you drakes

Always been excellent but not so good this evening. Fish over cooked and shortchanged on starters.

Took ages to get our order taken and when they did that even though the menu says kids meals come with a soft drink that only includes cordial not any of the other 15 soft drinks hey have on their menu.



30 mins for fish & chips in a restaurant that is 2/3 empty and no one in the takeaway is a joke



Not impressed at all.

The Staff need to learn about queuing, 3 people behind me got served before me and comments like "I'm serving the locals first!" don't help
