Drakes Tabanco Description

THE BEST WAY TO START THE WEEK? ALWAYS WITH SHERRY

User

Iberico meatballs with piquillo pepper sauce ,nothing better for this weather. Just could be better with a glass of Amontillado.

User

Windmill St has become a lovely little street! Enjoy your favorite glass of sherry in our terrace.

User

What a little gem. Chilled, authentic charm. Great food, charming staff. You could easily walk past but so glad we didn't. We'll be back. And we'll bring friends.

User

What a little gem! Had dinner here on a Friday evening... staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Decor, music and atmosphere were all perfect... felt like we could have been in a little Andalusian village. Lovely menu; plenty of choice but not overwhelming. The food was simply delicious. Every dish we had was fresh, flavoursome and beautifully presented.

I'll definitely be back.

User

We had an excellant pre theatre dinner helpful and engageing staff

User

Super inventive mix of dishes with incredible flavour. Cozy setting- beautiful wine list. I highly recommend this place if you want to experience something truly special

User

Loved our evening. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. The food was amazing and the waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. The salad and the sliders were delicious, the cheeses are a must. The total bill came to £37 per person, which I thought was more than reasonable. We ate and drank until we could no more. Officially my favourite tapas restaurant in town.

User

Great food great service, can’t wait to go back!

User

Fantastic little restaurant tucked away in a side street not too far from Oxford St. Authentic atmosphere and surroundings with the hams hanging from the ceiling which are also for sale.

Craft Spanish Lager (no San Miguel here) and Sherry from the cask adds to the appeal. We had the right wines for our meals of pigs cheeks and octopus with a Rioja and Cava and were given great advice on which Sherrys for the desserts we had.

If your only experience of Spanish Cuisine is paella then do your stomach and taste buds a favour and try this place out. We'll be back soon!

User

Celebrated my 25th birthday there last night and had an absolutely fabulous time!! The food and wine were fantastic! Everyone left very satisfied, very happy and had a very good time. The waiters were also very welcoming and very attentive throughout the entire evening. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and go back again. Thank you for an amazing birthday!

User

very poor, no need to be selling foie gras in 2015 , its a product of extreme cruelty, its also a very unhealthy option, and a shame on your restaurant, you would be doing the world a favour removing it from your menu, please do!

User

please take foie gras off the menu..too much cruelty ...please do the right thing ...

User

This is vile and extremely cruel, please can you remove this disgusting product from your menu???? do the decent thing.....

User

The Foie Gras is terrible. I mean really bad. In fact it's hell on Earth for the birds. Please remove it from your menu. Stop profiteering from pain.

User

Please stop selling foie gras? It is too cruel for any human to condone. The suffering is unimaginable! Please , no profit is worth compromising on what right. Foie Gras is just evil torture!! X

User

Just left this restaurant . Food awful

. Staff couldn't care less !so expensive ! Only reason they get customers is because the restaurant is near great hotel .food covered in Salt . Asked for refund it was so bad

User

I'm another that cannot eat at a place that sells foie gras. It's production is illegal in the UK it's so inhumane

User

Foie Gras is the vile product of extreme animal cruelty and it is in extremely poor taste for any restaurant to serve it. Please remove this 'food' from your menu or expect a boycott.
