Draughton Riding Centre Description
Draughton Riding Centre was established in 1984 and is located high on a hill looking down on the beautiful ever changing scenery of The Dales.
We are licensed, friendly family run equestrian centre, which is approved by the British Horse Society & the R. D. A.
The riding centre caters for all capabilities for both adults and children (over 4 years old). In addition we offer private lessons, lunge lessons, jumping lessons, pony days and accompanied hacking through stunning scenery.
We try to accommodate individual requirements and are happy to discuss any arrangements to suit your needs.
Full livery is sometimes available.

We are really sad to let you know that we lost lovely Marmite yesterday. After a short and nasty illness and despite all the best efforts of our vets and staff. He will be a much missed pony 😔

We now have a super new freelance Instructor teaching on Monday evenings from 4.30 till 8.30.
Penny Pleasant is a Level 3 Accredited Coach BHSAI.
She teaches all standards from lead rein children to more advanced riders wanting to progress their riding in all disciplines.
... She currently has a space for a half hour private lesson at 5 pm and there are also spaces on the 7.30 adult intermediate lesson.
