Dress For Awareness

About Dress For Awareness

Dress for Awareness was born out of two simple beliefs: there's a growing need to raise awareness of conscious behaviour, and everyday we have the chance to positively influence the people around us. We're undergoing critical moments in our history where social responsibility is key to make us thrive as a society: from global political crisis and wars to food chain sustainability, from natural resources usage and the fast fashion we're growing sceptical about - there's much to be done, so where to start? Our behaviours shape who we are, and we in turn shape those around us. What we stand by matters, and we can signal it with the simplest acts. We've chosen to start simple: turn the clothing we wear and the ideals it represents into a powerful driver of change. For every new topic we raise awareness for, we challenge different designers to create something unique. Our only ask to them is to create a minimal but impactful design capable of triggering a good conversation. The designs are exclusive and are produced as limited editions only available for a moment in time. We donate 100% of our profits to organisations where the money is highly leveraged. Yes, you read right: 100% . While we operate and innovate just like a regular e-commerce company, we're not here here to do business. We optimize for impact and long-lasting results, so when you choose to buy Dress for Awareness you do too. You can learn where the money goes in each product and design description. To make sure you're proud of what you're wearing, we do it the right way. Our clothing is made of GOTS certified organic materials, long-lasting to be a companion of your many adventures. We eliminate waste by producing in real-time in the UK when you order, and transform the factory by-product into the plastic-free biodegradable packaging you'll receive at home. Best of all, once your clothing is worn out you can send it back and we'll recycle it to put it back in use.
