You always know you can turn up any day and there will be a good selection on tap or in the fridge. Especially good when they have a tap takeover. Keep doing what your doing.

This has become our “local”. Nothing unusual about that.....except that we live 90 miles away!

Edit Jan 2018. Not sure what has happened as the choice of beer has dwindled, the music is awful and the bar staff have no passion and don’t care!

Small, but packed full of choice and flavour, a fantastic little beer stop!

Love this little place down on Poole quay . It's a must visit for craft ale fans . Please can you post the beers that come on more regularly ? then I'll be in more if I know what's on ! Keep up the good work ......

Love the place, but people please note the micro bit, they are not joking, fortunately there are other pubs close if you arrive to find a dozen people got there before you

Love coming here when back home. Always have a good time, music is fantastic, beer is great and love the gin. Alex is really great.

I’ve performed at The Drift bar on a couple of occasions, great atmosphere, lovely friendly staff and all round great venue! Hope to be back there soon ��

Great atmosphere. Great ales and if your into gin there's a gin bar upstairs. Well worth a visit. Love the live music that is on there some nights as well

Exceptionally friendly place to be. Although I don't drink alcohol I know they have a wonderful range of drinks to choose from and that everyone is made very welcome. Also great music both live and soundtracks, television (sports, game shows), and outside seating opposite the harbour. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Excellent range of bottled beers and a few local brewed beers which are very commendable, very small bar but welcoming and cosy. The avid real drinkers among us should take the time to visit this bar and sample some of Alex's ales, cocktails and lagers. Will revisit on my return!

Cracking little bar in Poole.They always have great real ales and you will always get a great welcome and plenty of banter.It would be a good idea to put a list of ales which will be on next.I can't wait for my next visit

Always a great selection of beers and the rums are pretty dam good!! Not made it up to the gin bar yet but theres time lol, as for the landlords what can i say great bloke always smiling least i think he smiling could be wind!! Overall great place to visit cheers Alex

Alex and Co are always brilliant, it's a wonderful place to spend time chat about all things in life and enjoy some of the greatest beers in poole. Cheers guys. Thanks for being awesome �

Absolutely amazing place to wine and dine, Oscar the man who runs the place has excellent customer service and can accommodate all who are willing to abide by the rules.

I would highly recommend the food as well as the food is served to the highest standards. Thank you to all those who work there you are very well appreciated.

I was brought there by the Good Beer Guide. It has to be said that an entry in the GBG that has no real ale is unusual to say the least (all off!!!). Still quite enjoyed myself as I don’t mind a good keg ale but if you are after cask beer be warned.
