When I arrived I was greeted by a lovely member of staff who was very happy and cheerful. I was given all the info about how the event was run, what I needed to do for food etc and where to go.



I have seen reviews about people complaining about the catering. This was their own fault as EVERYONE was told to order early because of the volume of customers.

The food was great and I was surprised at the value for the food!



I really enjoyed my experience as did my mate that was with me.

Such an amazing experience, been once before at Halloween and both times it was great. Organised well, loads of food choices delivered straight to your car and of course the films! We will definetley be back!

Really good experience from the beginning to the end. Friendly welcome, very organised, food delivered to the car, excellent film, great atmosphere. Just wish there were more nights like this available through the summer????

Loved this. Saw The Greatest Showman on Friday night. Brilliant atmosphere, really well organised - great staff. Bought food before show started so all good there. If anything, could have done with the screen being 1 or 2m higher but that’s a very minor point. Great job, will definitely go again.

Just been to see Polar Express and it was great fun, certainly a different thing to do as a family! Organisation was brilliant and the little Christmas market had some lovely stalls. The ordering food via text and getting it delivered to the car was great, altho our pizzas took an hour to arrive but they were delicious and very reasonably priced. The only thing that I think could be improved on is the toilets - only 4 portaloos and I can't imagine them being very pleasant by the end of the third film tonight as they weren't great at 4pm and the one I used had run out of paper. But otherwise a fantastic event and we'll definitely go again next year!

Had an amazing afternoon watching The Goonies!!!



The staff were great, everything was top quality. The sound was great too.



Also had an amazing ice cream treat from the Ice Cream Chef.

Had a great time this evening, we had a great spot with a very clear view. We went and got our food before the movie started but I was surprised at how few food stalls there were. The selection of food was fine but there were long queues and I’m glad we got in early. As we drove out there were still a few of the girls delivering food, mostly pizzas, to cars as they were driving off.

We would definitely go again ÔøΩ

Great evening watching The Greatest Showman. Friendly staff, courtious film goers and careful marshalling. Very hot - a quick mr whippy van would have been a great addition to the skilled individual icecream roller who probably hasnt stopped all eve.

Absolutely love coming back to the drive-in movies year after year!!Me and my partner watched Dirty Dancing, and the Goonies.Fab show each and everytime.The atmosphere is always amazing,and all of the staff so lovely. We tried quite a few of the food stalls, and everything was lovely, not too expensive either, which is always a good thing!Sound and the picture quality was also amazing.I can't wait for the next movies that u put on, just a shame that it is not sooner!! So thank you so much for a absolutely amazing event

Lovely time watching the polar express last night. Only disappointment was that our pizzas were never delivered (this was after we walked to the pizza stand half way through the movie and they told us they were very busy.) Ended up leaving the movies and having to go buy dinner for the two toddlers who were starving. Overall besides the food it was a well organized event and will book again next year (but I will probably bring my own food to keep my toddlers fed and not rely on the food service).

Lovely evening only let down was food delivery. 45 mins for 2 sausages (which to be fair were good when they arrived) and 1h15 for 2 pizzas to then be told that they could not complete the order was really disappointing. There are similar reviews from Christmas. If the food suppliers cannot cope with the demand then you need to look at who you are using as it affects the overall impression of the event. Would definitely bring my own food next time. If you are going this weekend avoid the pizza!

Loved the movie and the whole experience!

We did not order food so no issues there.

However, we do have a fairly low car though, and although the parking person asked if we were happy, he wasn’t to know that the car in front would have children sat on their bonnet, roof, cans of drink on the roof for whole performance , parents walking around, opening boot for 5 mins during the performance ...

If the screen were 6 foot or more higher non of this would have been a problem. Either that or have sections for lower cars - like the vans who were on the outside?

Loved the concept and the screen and sound was great however we ordered food 15 minutes into the film and got a text 10 minutes before the end of the film saying they can’t provide the food! I would go again but definitely bring your own dinner!

Love coming to this event each year. Good quality picture and sound. Only thing to suggest is to advertise food suggestions that require special dietary requirements (gluten free). Other than that, brilliant! Will continue to attend, bring on the next one ÔøΩÔøΩ

Great experience last night really enjoyed, set up perfectly and staff were lovely. The only problem was the cars in front leaving their doors open, when we asked politely to shut them, we were spoken to rudely so missed the first 10 minutes. I think cars should be asked to keep them shut when the films on.

Fantastic event! We found the organisers very welcoming and understanding regarding my Son’s food allergies. Excellent clear audio through the radio. We were lucky and had no issues with our food orders but probably not as busy due to the Football when we went! Experiencing Back to the Future at the Drive in Movies was Brilliant!....and we’re looking forward to the Christmas event. Thank you Drive In Movies ��x

Definitely agree with previous reviews. Love the whole movie set up and what a glorious night for it. However delivery of food was a real let down. Ordered pizza for little ones, checked after half an hour, assured it was coming. After 1h15 went back and asked again, our order was no where even near the top of the list. When I asked why they weren’t telling people their orders couldn’t be fulfilled they couldn’t answer and didn’t really seem to care. Really appallingly service and attitude from pizza company. Other food outlets dealt with issues far more pleasantly. Please sort this out Drive In Movies, as we did as you asked and didn’t bring our own food in, but as a result ended up with 3 very hungry children!

Parking wasn't properly thought of as could move cars in chess game outline, a lot of bigger cars parked up front rows were blocking the screen.

Also food wise, ice cream stall forgot about our ice creams order and didn't even bother telling us it wasn't coming any more, and took way longer that was assured of, as said they only had two orders in front of us. It wasn't untill the end of the movie that I walked up and asked where it was, ended up cancelling it as no longer needed.

Drive In movies company could also let viewers know in advance that next session comes cheaper if decide to stay as this was never mentioned on FB event list

Also screen wasn't that good especially with the sun light on

Please make sure you fix it next year

And would be nice if prices be more affordable too, say £15 per car would be alright. Especially the way you make people park some of the people barely saw the screen, paying over £20 just for the sound isn't good enough

Movie and organisation of the cars was brilliant, and the screen and sound quality was amazing. Catering however needs sorting. We waited 1 hour 40 for a burger, and when it arrived i was not in the car (as was trying to chase where the heck the pizza was!) and the delivery girl short changed my young son. 1 Pizza arrived after the film finished and all the cars were leaving (we had ordered 2!) The pizza company did apologise and give it free of charge. Whilst i had gone back to get my money back, from the burger van, everyone started tooting as the film had ended and my younger son got scared and had a panic attack! Not an enjoyable experience! To tell people they cannot bring their own food but then provide unacceptable catering arrangements is not acceptable - especially with children. My youngest son has said he never, ever wants to go to a drive in movie again.ÔøΩ
