Driving Miss Daisy® is an internationally successful Companionship and Assisted Transportation Service and since its arrival in the UK in 2015, has set-up and developed service centres across the country and is now has over 45 centres in the UK. Driving Miss Daisy® is a business with a heart and one that makes a real difference to the lives of our clients. We are renowned for offering a safe, caring and reliable service for those people who find it difficult to get out and about, by providing companionship and transportation for the elderly, children and people with disabilities, among many others. We offer assistance with anything from medical appointments to a trip to the hairdressers and we make social outings possible and, most of all enjoyable. All our drivers are Enhanced DBS certified, Private Hire Licensed, First-Aid Accredited, Dementia Friends and trained to assist with mobility. Driving Miss Daisy® Barnstaple was started in June 2018 by Mark Jones and Sharon Hunt and covers Barnstaple and the surrounding areas, although we are prepared to travel further afield if required. We currently have three wheelchair accessible vehicles and four Daisy Companion Drivers.
