I often get asked “what do we do in our Adult Jazz classes?”
Well, our ladies learn a dance routine over 3-4 weeks, each routine varies in style. From 60s to modern day, from Latin to Jive, from Disco to Charleston. But the main thing we do is help YOU forget the outside world, whilst meeting new friends and having great FUN!

The Dronfield Dance and Theatre Academy is an absolute credit to you Sally, I have cried with pure pride at Darcey starting gymnastics again and can not sing Christina's praises enough after eve's dropping on the class and hearing her give beautiful and confident feedback to all the girls, but especially Darcey...even when she did a full on rollypolly across the mat instead of a forward roll. Darceys the youngest and smallest of the group, but I swear she came out a foot taller than the lot with confidence!

Thankyou for being fabulous at what you do, but also for doing it with so much love. X Inga

My sister & I have just started the beginners tap classes & are really looking forward to learning a new skill. Sally & Eleanor are so friendly & patient. We are both in our early 70s, it's never too late to learn & keep fit doing something you love.

My daughter started dancing with Sally a few years ago and subsequently moved with her when she expanded to the new Dronfield studio, being a student helper for some of the time as well as a regular student . She soon made life long friends with the other students as well as the wonderful teaching staff who always encouraged and supported her through shows, auditions, exams, and classes. This stood her in good stead and through the years she became a confident and determined young lady not just in dance but it helped her immensely to get where she is today continuing with her love of dance and music so much she was accepted by audition to study for a musical theatre degree in Chichester. Thankyou to all the staff just goes to show what can be achieved with good support and excellent tuition .

My daughter loves going to Dronfield Dance and Theatre Academy, only started this year and she's settled in nicely. Friendly place lovely people, would definitely recommend. X

I have been a student of Sally's for a long time now, she's amazing and her dance knowledge is second to none. Her classes helped me massively in overcoming a recent back injury. Over a year ago, I suffered a bad back injury that put me out of action for at least 8 months and I really struggled with getting my fitness and flexibility back up. Sally suggested me to take up ballet again as she believed it would help gain my strength back and get rid of any referred pain left over from my injury and after 6 classes, it was as though the injury never existed! The ballet classes have helped me get my active lifestyle back AND strengthened my core and increased my flexibility slowly back up to what it was before. I could not recommend her classes enough ���

Fin has been attending DDTA for many years.

The staff are always very helpful and friendly.

Grace has been attending for the past year, she enjoys her dance classes just as much as Fin has.



I cant wait to see them both in this years show.



The last show was so much fun, Fin really enjoyed the whole experience
