Drusillas Park

I've never been to Drusillas and only live local. So I was surprised at how many fantastic animals & monkeys there was to see. Also how clean it was and all the animals were well looked after and happy. I took my toddler who is 18 months old and there was so much for him to see and do. Plus he loved all the rides he was able to go on for his age group. The play area was a big hit and we spent a few hours just climbing and going down the slides lol. I was recommended Drusillas for all ages and can't wait to come back.

The best 'zoo' around! The animals seem happy, well cared for and in very reasonable spaces. It appeared that they didn't have animals that wouldn't be happy being kept there (e.g. large mammals and those that require large territory's or that migrate.) The keepers and volunteers are very friendly and informative. I found Drusillas a relaxed environment for both humans and animals!

At the end of our first visit we decided to upgrade to annual membership as the children really enjoyed it. I was very impressed we could deduct our entry ticket price off the annual membership cost which made it very attractive.

The addition of the kids splash park is fantastic. The mix of seeing the animals, going on the rides, the splash/ water park, adventure playgrounds, eateries works really well. I also like the fact you can go all year round. Seeing Father Christmas last year was great and the presents given were good quality.

I just had a joint birthday party for my children last weekend and I would like to thank Malcolm and the team for putting together a great birthday meal for the kids, with quality food, good variety, friendly & helpful staff and party bags as well as helping with my birthday cake.

I'd thoroughly recommend this children's theme park/ zoo and look forward to returning again soon.

Great zoo and fun park for little kids. It’s proper area for looking all around and do activities. Friendly staffs, lovely animals. Food and souvenia are reasonable price. I definitely will come back again and again. :-)

I have visited Drusillas on many occasions, with children and on my own, being an animal addict!
It is extremely well laid out, informative and easy to get around. I like the large areas to eat, inside and out and the staff are so helpful.
Education officer, Carla Dray, who has been at the zoo for many years is a joy to listen to as her passion and knowledge of the animals in her care is so apparent.
It is fairly expensive but offers great value for money as it is such a memorable day out.

Great way to spend the day with family.
Animals are very well cared for. Kids have loads to do. The playground area is top notch.

The reason this got 4/5 instead of 5/5 is mainly down to the entrance prices and cost of food once in the place. I have a family of 5 and we spent in total around £150 including entrance and lunch.

Top destination for young families. Superb zoo featuring a large range of mid to small sized animals plus fairground rides. A few of the attractions have additional costs which are bit higher than I think appropriate. Decent food options. Staff very welcoming.

We had a great time out at the zoo. The variety of animals is good however when we visited the bird enclosure was closed and a number of other attractions were under construction. This zoo is definitely a more child and family orientated/friendly zoo.
