ƒôó ƒôó THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED ƒÉÆ ƒÉÆ Congratulations to Michelle who named the twins Trick and Treat! We think it's the perfect for the cheeky duo! :)
We are celebrating the birth of twin cotton-top tamarins!
The cheeky duo are in desperate need of a name and the Zoo Keepers would like help from you to think of two names which suit the pair!
... The twins are inseparable so the zoo wants to give them names that pair up well together, e.g. Cheese & Onion, Marsh & Mallow or Kiss & Cuddles.
All name suggestions must be gender neutral as the monkeys are too young to sex at the moment, so keepers wonÔÇÖt be able to determine their gender for quite some time.
We are offering 2 x free tickets to the person who suggests the winning name!
How to enter: You must LIKE and SHARE this post then COMMENT with your gender neutral suggestions and reasons why below! You MUST do all 3 of these to be in with a chance of winning! Competition closes on Friday 12th October! So get sharing your amazing names for our lovely twins!
GOOD LUCK!!!

What a lovely place, first visit, booked a sloth encounter for our daughters 12th birthday, the keeper Charlie was amazing really knowledgable, the experience wasnÔÇÖt rushed and got to had feed Sophocles the sloth. All in all despite the weather being against us it was a great day.

User

We recently took our young neice on a trip to Drusilas. We had an absolutely fantastic day. We started in the zoo and she loved going round with the spotter booker, stamping it when she had found the animal in it. All the animals looked really well cared for in clean and tidy enclosures. The keepers that we saw couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and telling her about the animal they look after. After the zoo we spent a long time in the play park, which caters for for Children of all ages. The water park area was great fun! After the playpark we went The Train ride was fun and then onto one of her favourite parts - Hello Kitty world!

A fun day out for all the family and in my opinion great value for money

User

We had a fantastic day, lots to do and see, good enclosures for the animals. Perfect for our 3 year old grandson. Would definitely visit again however think there should be more of a discount for family groups or incentive offers such as visit again in the next 3 months and pay half price

User

Visited today with my 5 year old and had THE BEST day! Literally canÔÇÖt fault anything. The whole place is really clean, the childrenÔÇÖs play areas are amazing, all the animals seemed very well cared for, throughout the day saw numerous staff members cleaning out animal areas, activities well organised and supervised, splash park was great fun and again clean and well looked after. Food was of great quality. Every single member of staff we came across seemed so friendly and happy, makes a real change as most places you go to thereÔÇÖs a few miseries who ruin the vibe. Could have easily stayed another few hours, thereÔÇÖs just so much to do and see! CanÔÇÖt wait to return!

User

Visited today for my daughters 9th Birthday where she spent her time as a ÔÇ£keeper for the dayÔÇØ. She had a fantastic day. A huge part of this was down to our zoo keeper Charlie. His care and knowledge of the animals is infectious as was his care and attitude towards our daughter and making sure she had a great time. Charlie is a huge credit to the park. Thank you for a great time ƒÿâƒæìƒÅ╝

Took my (now) teenage kids to the park today when visiting from the US. They both attended as kids and had great memories, and wanted to relive them. Great to attend when school is still in session, no crowds....The Zoo was awesome, great selection of animals and all well maintained. Very clean and organized facilities. Play Park and trains etc also awesome. Had lunch there also, Burgers, Fish n Chips - Food was fresh, ample and overall very good for fast food. All staff we talked too were very pleasant also. Well done keeping this facility's standards up.

User

This was a trip down memory lane for my 40 something younger sister and me, neither of us have visited since 1998 what a difference !!! I loved it, we visited without kids as I would my local zoo ( Chester) so couldn't comment on play areas but that wasn't why we visited, lovely enclosures with mixed exhibits and good variety of animals took over 300 photos thanks to careful balance between animal and visitor experience hopefully won't be 20 years before we visit again

User

My daughter recently came on a trip here with nursery and she had the most amazing time. She still talks about it daily and it was almost 2 months ago now. We canÔÇÖt wait to bring her back and see it for ourselves!!

User

Just got home from an amazing day. Enzo our son had a keeper day experience with the lovely amazing keeper Charlie, who went above and beyond to make his day the best ever, thank you so much Charlie, drusillas and the animals are lucky to have you. Give the keeper a promotion/ pay rise. Brilliant job, keep up the amazing work´┐¢

It was always a fun day out, but we've enjoyed it so much we've been twice since February. Looks like we'll be back again too with our discount vouchers on the way out. Staff were friendly and h&s conscious, attractions second to none. A grand day out. Worth the extra miles esp as from Leic. My girls are 6&9 so my review is based on their age and enjoyment too.

User

Had a great day here with my daughter and granddaughter (whoÔÇÖs only 3 months so didnÔÇÖt really appreciate it ) but itÔÇÖs a good day out , used to bring mine when they were all small itÔÇÖs changed lots but all for the good , canÔÇÖt wait until little one is older the water park looked great

User

Came here at the beginning of May 2018 with my then 3 year old daughter, & she loved it so much, we booked to come back at the end of May for her 4th Birthday. Can't thank everyone enough for a wonderful day.

We arrived at 10:30 & had our annual passes sorted, before spending the entire day here. My daughter loved it so much, & now we are annual pass holders, there's no excuse not to go back. I'm pretty sure we still haven't seen everything & my daughter was disappointed when we had to leave as the park shut. Having explained to her that the animals & people are all going to bed, she has said we can go another time.

What a fantastic park - the rides were great & the staff very friendly. See you soon Drusillas!

User

Amazing day spent with my six year old daughter and my great friend with her two children, ages six and three. We love this place and try to come at least once a year.

We had such a great time, there is so much to do. Fantastic rides for our children's ages. Zoo, play parks, splash Park, indoor soft play and train. Great seating areas for picnics.

The children loved Panning for Gold, going on the Penguin Inflatable, Dino Dig and the Vertical Climb. The rides were great and suitable for all their ages. We stayed until closing, my daughter didn't want the day to end. Thank you Drusillas ´┐¢

User

Absolutely amazing park ! Wish we had more time ! Great family day out and lots included! Also loved the toddler seats ! Made it so much easier for my Just potty trained son! The sign posts around the park were amazing and lots of interactive buttons for the children ! The enclosures were lovely and the animals looked so happy !! If we lived closure I'd certainly be buying a annual pass !

User

A great day out. We visited when Prim was 3 and just again now she is 5. Really enjoyed it both times. The rides at Hello Kitty World were perfectly suited size wise and thrill wise to small people. Our Daughter found the animals fascinating. We remembered to take swimming costume and towel so she managed to enjoy the splash zone too. And the play equipment is great: loads of space even on a sunny half term holiday.

User

My grandchildren had a great time..... once i got in. One of the ladies on reception was very rude!

When i told her i had booked online but never received the confirmation email. She just said ÔÇ£oh well i canÔÇÖt let you inÔÇØ so when i told her i had phoned before hand. They had told me to tell her my name. So i did. And went on to say. ÔÇ£Nope, you must have used another name ÔÇ£??? How many names does she think i have?? Then she just muttered ÔÇ£youÔÇÖll have to go over to the help desk then turned her back! Very rude woman!

User

Great day out and itÔÇÖs been a favourite for two generations of our family, however the price to get in is now quite high for what is there and then being charged additionally for the penguin slide etc was a step too far for us.

User

We were lucky enough to go on a day that wasn't busy so the children could go on a ride, then get straight back on as no queues. Could do with more rides there.

water park was great, but for some reason it stopped working and after about 20 minutes we gave up waiting for t to work again and made our way to look at the animals.

Children wanted to do dino dig, panning for gold, penguin plunge and vertical limit, but we were disgusted at the prices charged. After paying £125 for a family of 7, it would have cost a further £48 for them to do those, and they were all disappointed that we said no to buying tickets for them. I think it should be included in the price.

Although kids had fun, I wouldn't pay to go again

We are Annual Members. Over the Bank Holiday I took my Autistic Son and my 2 year old daughter, and was made to park right at the back in a stony part of the grounds. I needed to take our double buggy and my son was quite upset, as didnÔÇÖt understand why we were having to navigate the stones etc. It was a very uncomfortable experience & although I had explained to the GM who was directing cars, I wanted to park at the end of a row, he refused me. There were cars parked there upon our return however ƒÿí They also parked vehicles closely behind mine, totally blocking easy access with my double buggy! I had to push my heavy Pram containing my two children over large rocks and huge chunks of hard lumpy mud, just to be able to get back to my vehicle. I donÔÇÖt understand...I asked to be parked at the end of the row and was denied! ƒÿó I popped a tyre on the Pram and produced a Halfords Service note showing IÔÇÖd needed to get a tyre replaced. Just because the till receipt from a previous repair showing the amount I had paid to accompany the following service note, had a previous date on, despite the relevant work having been carried out and paid for AFTER my visit to Drusillas, they wouldnÔÇÖt reimburse me for the new tyre ƒÿ» a bad experience due to poor management, amongst nice memories I made with my family!
