Educate your patients. Taking artistic photographs is fun and rewarding. However there is not much point if your patients do not benefit from your #photography skills.
This patient presented with sensitivity to cold stimuli and received a diagnosis of erosive toothwear. At the time my intraoral photography failed to capture sufficient surface detail. A close up view of the study model shows the pattern of enamel loss and even the dentinoenamel junction is cl...early defined. The study model image was used to educate the patient about his condition and plan his care.
