nice warm welcome from the staff and good variety of beers to suit everyone

We eat there most Sundays and our granddaughters love coming. They are 16 and 17and travel at least an hour to get here. Also enjoyed our Christmas meal.

Very comfortable pub Resturant, good food and very pleasant service.

I always take family when they come to visit.

Been coming here for the last 6 years, since we moved into the area. Love the pub and the locals who come here. Friendly staff and have always been served with a smile.

Nothing is ever perfect in life but the Duck in Pond comes close! The "missing star" is car parking is at a premium and maybe could see grass fronted area rearranged a bit? Not a major prob but one to note for a busy eve. However a great meet-up venue, more than friendly bar staff and convivial atmosphere.Second visit and will certainly visit again. Would recommend to anyone seeking a safe environment drinking venue.

It’s a lovely environment for friends to hang out in. I’ve bought food there but the drinks I think are priced fairly. My only thing is crisps are too darn expensive in pubs.

Saturday Morning.

Didn't open on time, no one answered phone whilst we were trying to see why the delay (though only 12/15mins later than normal) but paying for the car park our clock was ticking.

Food was fine but no real system in place, we were two families who ordered back to back, food didnt come as per ticket (as advised by host) just randomly, took 24mins for all to arrive with a simple garlic bread coming last and desert followed a further 20mins after. Was not busy when we ordered and we were first there. Had picked up by time we were eating.

Service was polite n courteous.

Mens Restrooms were filthy, strange first thing in morning!

Goin back again? On a summers night for drinks with mates yes, with family and children during the day or for a meal. Certainly not..

Vegetarian Review! It was good the last time I came here. The main ingredient in the veggie burger is beetroot! That's very silly so I didn't order that. The camembert starter is smaller than last time and comes with four tiny pieces of baguette slices. The puy vegetable pie was not big or filling enough for a main meal, even after the cheese and bread starter. I'm still hungry and have spent £15 on food. Where to go for dinner now? Any suggestions?

Had a veggies roast dinner.... Unfortunately others was cold but mine was frozen in the middle!!! This is my local but Gary the manager a stickler for rules and wouldn't allow my friend and daughters to join us unless they were ordering from the main menu!! We have to sit in the family area as my son is only 16!!! Stupid rules, service not amazing only go there as it's the only local pub!! What a shame!! Ember ins being let down!!! Can't wait for the local competition to open up!!! Yippeeee!!

Will not be visiting again which is such as shame as local to my family. So un child friendly. Went this afternoon with a large group of friends. 4 of is had children. They said they couldn't be there unless all adults in the group were eating. Some of us were and all the children did clearly drink profit doesn't matter to them so rude. All the children were well behaved and sat down
